  1. The First Cache I ever found was by accident. Just as I got introduced to geocaching, (or heard about it I should say) I tried solving one of those cache's where u need to solve a riddle to get the coordinates. Well I did it wrong, and got faulty coordinates (REALLY faulty, I was WAAAAY off). At the time, I didn't have a GPS but the coordinates I got, according to google maps, led me to a park just up the street. So I found nothing according to where google said it should be, so I searched the ENTIRE park (ok well it wasn't a really Large park) and found a Micro. I thought that was my cache, logged it as a find. Then about a week later realised what happened. (And fixed my logs). Digital Mind
  2. Thanks for the info guys ... I appreciate it .. Take care !
  3. Hi All, New to geocaching, so far found 7-8 (6 of which without a GPS that I now got for xmas) I'm kind of anxious to come across a TB and move it along to a future cache I find. Here is my question. Lets say one of the cache's i've already found (that is nearby) has a TB in it (after i've found it) Is it wrong to go back, resign the log, take the TB and pass it along to another cache (or whatever you're supposed to do with that particular TB) ??? Thanks and happy holidays !! Digital Mind
  4. I have found my first 6-7 cache's without a GPS. Needless to say it usually involved more than one trip and LOTS of walking around in circles. Santa took pity on me and got me an explorist 500 which I will be forever grateful for. (Makes things alot easier ) I downloaded all the maps I needed, and had an extra SD card from my camera which was exactly what I was missing. Didn't sleep for almost 24hrs while learning to figure out how it works (Uploading waypoints, detailed maps, routes, etc etc etc) Now i'm all set !! Can't wait to set-up my own Cache's .. (Look out Montreal!!)
