  1. Well done! We are very pleased to see it get mega status. Well done to Mark and Liane for all your hard work. :)
  2. So thats it then. Virtuals are the way forward in urban areas during these turbulant times. I certainly would nt entertain anyone getting a criminal record searching for my tupperware box. Would you?
  3. Ah all is well. Thank you to the cacher who has offered to rescue our lovely chicken.
  4. Hi we don't tend to come in here very often but feel this is a special occasion. Our lovely chicken Cheryl is stuck in a Cache . She needs a ride to the Mega event and needs to be logged in the at least the night before. Can anyone please help a chick in need? She needs to come back home to us now. :D  Thank you.
  5. Gosh what a shame. Not sure what to say really.
  6. On returning from the Brecon Beacons we thought we would attend the 10 years event at the Blorenge. Sensed something was not right when I realised I was totally alone at GZ. Re-checked the date on getting back to the van to discover I was a month early. How solid am I?
  7. Well done Birdman of Liskatraz. Who reached his 2000th cache at the Stop the Clocks event on the 27th March 2010. Well done Birdie and glad you enjoyed your jelly which was lovingly made my the Defective Detectives.
  8. We are finally hoping to make it to Piratemania. At last!
  9. I sneaked my phone in my pocket at work and listened in. It was good. Well done to Vampira for getting on the radio.
  10. Well this has been very interesting and I hope it has brought more fun to the forums. I am now going to refer to Lord Sonatella as Ronnie the Warthog all the time as I think it is a good name.
  11. Ha I just asked Lord Sonatella and he said Ronnie the Warthog!! I like that I think I would be Miss Horningtops. This is where I used to live. I am enjoying some of these suggestions they are very good.
  12. I am not sure if this has been done before but I am starting this thread in support of Hazel who wants more fun on here. OK I have often thought that I made up our Geocaching name quite quickly without much thought at the time. This is because I never would of guessed it would turn out to be the main part of my life. So if you could start again would you still have the name you have or would you pick another one you have thought of since? If so what would it be? This is purely for fun.
  13. Oh look I am having fun on the forums by making Hazel's thread jump up to the top of the list again. Top job Hazel well done for starting this wonderful thread. About time it was said. (Shall I stop now?)
  14. And I wanted to get you to the top of the forum list again ha it works lol That was fun
  15. Geo horse racing just remembers trying to race Cachehopper and PUP out of a field whilst being chased by about 8 horses. PUP won that race.
  16. Some friends of mine put on facebook that they were attending a big family birthday and when they got home they had a break in. I also do not even put my home co ords on here.
  17. If you don't like nanos or micros don't do them. If you like them do them. It really is that simple. SIMPLES Happy caching folks.
  18. Hi as you have politely just asked for our opinions then I have one on the subject. We have had many caches muggled over and over again and we did try to avoid making them members only but had to in the end to stop this happening. The TBs and coins that are in these caches are better protected being less public. I think the fee for joining is very small considering the enjoyment and rewards we get from it. Just like to add I really don't like it when people start having silly little fights on the forums. Why can't everyone just get along. We can all have an opinion and share it without the cat calling. Please all get along xxxxx I hope this answers you questions.
  19. If I get held under this act I will spill the beans on what I am doing in very full detail. I will start with "my sister Liane (Cache Hopper) made me do it. She brain waved me into it.......she got me addicted to searching for things all over the country and now I can't stop. I am forced to record it all on a website and meet with the other recruits on a regular basis. This is when they ply you will lots of alchoholic drinks and get you more brainwashed."I will then proceed to give a very long list of names. I will then bore them so much with geocaching geeky talk they will be running for their keys to let me out. I will of course hid a nano on the way out that I have concealed under my tongue throughout the interrogation.
  20. We met him in the Summer this year at the beach near Weston he was wonderful We are thinking of you Wendy in these sad times. xxx
  21. You have just reminded me that ours is still out there it has not been published let alone found lol. Might have to go and get it back as I could not get any permissions for it. Good luck everyone in this challenge.
  22. I was just looking at the logs on our Stop the Clocks event and there was a log that really made me smile. It said "Glad you enjoyed the event, I enjoyed serving you" From the barman. I then noticed he has taken up caching and now done eight caches. I just thought that was really nice.
