My newsletter just came and it had no events or new caches and said I must put in my current location to receive them. I've been getting this for years. When I looked at my location, it was way off.I am a premium member by the way.

Where is this "private browsing" you speak of. I use Firefox and this website is the only one that logs me out. Thanks Found "Private Browsing" and mine is not turned on. Guess I'll keep looking.

Long time member,first time poster. For the last couple of days if I run a PQ of say 500 caches,I may get 50 or I may get none. If I do have any show up they are nowhere near the search area. Anyone else having this problem or know of a solution. This is a first for me. I sent a request to GS but have not gotten a reply.

I"m going on a golf-caching trip next week so I entered addresses to golf courses and hotel in Mapsource. When I try to send them as waypoints to my venture cx it says "data successfully sent" but only one shows up in waypoints on the gpsr. I've tried sending them one at a time but none will transfer. Any help would be appreciated!

I guess you could say I found out about caching because of my atv. I bought my Rancher in nov. It doesn't have a speedo or odometer so I bought a Etrex for that purpose. In learning to use it I found out about caching. Now I have to hobbies that burn gas. LOL

I use the Venture Cx with a "Lobster mount" from Cabela's. Works great!

I just noticed that when I load a PQ on my Venture CX it loads them as GC's and WP's.If you delete from the WP side it also deletes from GC. I have a few WP that only show up on the WP side. Anyone understand what I'm talking about? I've become obsessed with this thing!

My rebate actually came today. I think I got the phone # from the letter I got telling me my rebate had been denied. Garmin really needs to find someone else to handle the rebates or better yet just give us a better in-store price! The # I called is 1 800 417 9436

Yes, I'm using cachmate. I reloaded the PQ and it looks like a few of the ones with missing info now has it.

I am getting gpx files and using the pq that is sent to me.It's not all of them but say out of 100, 25 or so will not have the description, hints, past logs. If I look at them on the preview they do have all this. Of course it seems to be the ones I try and locate when I'm out that won't have it. lol

I also got the "upc not included" with my Venture CX rebate. Called Garmin, told the lady I would not be ripped off and would do whatever it takes to recieve the rebate. She says she took care of it. I did get an email saying I would recieve the rebate. We will see.

When I load a pq into my palm some info such as hints and descriptions are missing on some caches. Sure could use a little help. Very new to this. Thanks!

You will love it! Got mine for Christmas ( my 1st gpsr). We went geocaching in the cold again yesterday. Even the girlfriend seemed to have a good time! lol. My City Nav. disc should be here this week. I won a Super Bowl pool last night so I placed an order! Have fun!

I also bought the Z22 this week. I'm using gsak and cachmate and so for so good.

I bought the Palm Z22, did the Cachmate download as the artical says and all is great! Paperless is the way to go for me. Thanks for the info!

About six months ago I picked up a Palm IIIxe for about $15 total and it works great. But with many eBay sellers now charging $15 for shipping and auctions for their used Palm IIIxe going for around $15 - $25, I would much rather pickup a new Palm Z22 for $99 than buy a questionalble used Palm for $30 - $40 total.
