  2. WOW, Welcome to the fun
  3. The change over is automatic. You will need to sign out then back in on both GC and the forums. I would not worry about any one deleting a find. Remember though that you can only do it ONCE on your own. http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=115
  4. Thats great! Took me 2 years to get to 100 also. I know I will never get 1000 because there are at least that many with in 100 miles of me, that I have no desire to look for
  5. Really? People have been following bad GPS directions as long as they have had maps and compasses? Go figure. This one was funny. "The 3 girls blamed a bad GPS" Not their inability to have a rational thought "keep going through the water were in a SUV"
  6. A blank log.... Thats all you will get from me
  7. Sorry you dont like it any more. I dont see why a redesign of the web site would turn you off that much. With 29 active caches still out there do you still plan to maintain, archive or let them turn into Geotrash? I do hope not the latter.
  8. I dropped off 2 and picked up 2 at GW9 the TB area was very well organized.
  9. I dropped on last year into a cache it went ZERO miles before the cache was stolen. This morning I get an email about another bug I marked missing a year ago. It was discovered. I moved it a little then sent a note to the cacher asking them to retrieve it again and of course thanking them for finding it. Frustrating but it happens
  10. No problem. Welcome to the fun! I think you will be amazed at the things you will find close to home that you never knew existed
  11. My take is ,, How can you find some thing that you hid?
  12. If you have the iPhone app then you have the coordinates as you look at the cache page it self. The difficulty and terrain ratings are at the top of the cache page description. Take a look at this page to help you get started http://www.geocaching.com/guide/default.aspx Here is the glossary http://www.geocaching.com/about/glossary.aspx
  13. Im guessing they are just trying to get around those pesky copy write infringements
  14. Wile caching at GW9 we met and cached with a nice guy from California named Alamogul. He has a few finds
  15. I will raise ya 600 and a growler of Romulan Ale
  16. People who cant take the time to read a cache description. Then complain about how hard it is to find, why is it in the woods, cant you make it easier, its not kid friendly, why cant you tell me the path to take, the weeds are to high, we had to walk to far,
  17. I have tried to do them with the wereigo app but I just cant get it to work. I wont buy a compatible GPSr just to do them
  18. Only cached in Canada once wile getting away from a family picnic for a hour or so. Since I live in WNY.
