Common ground you say? I used to briefly owned a VW Beetle (short ownership - long story). I work at a car dealership that sales VWs among other makes. and I also own a Garmin Legend GPSr. Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

I think it's a great idea if done to the right people or in the right place/town/area. But around here it's not really a good idea. I saw this bumper sticker on a car the other day. Honk If You've Never Seen An Uzi Fired From A Car Window. I have worked on a few cars that have been shot at for being in the place let alone being honked at. Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

I did get some better reactions from some of more intelligent people I know. Both of them think it sounded like a lot of fun. But didn't want to try it.
