  1. I've found a couple of Jeep TB's now. The first one was a red jeep and I was all excited and took some great pictures with it, only to be denied entry when I tried to log into the contest. I left it in a cache on an island, where no jeep should ever go.
  2. I helped put out an underwater cache this spring. We took a lunch thermos with a wide mouth and attached it via a carabiner to a weighted board. The cache was placed in Lake Manitoba in about 3 feet of water. There were several finds and all the finders reported a dry cache. My GPS Floats But My Cache Splashes
  3. That thread asks what gets you out caching. As opposed to what would bring you to a specific cache? Similar but slightly different.

Difficulty, Terrain, Location, Geography, Interesting buildings, interesting Cache Container, Interesting trees, Interesting way of placing it, placed by someone i know, placed by someone I dont know, vicinity to a Tim Hortons, difficult puzzle, easy puzzle, informative multi, nude beaches , Clothed Beaches , Solitude, Fresh air, rocks, birds, deer, sunshine, blistering cold, sweltering heat, darkest night with the lure of a BFL, A chance to use mosquito repellant, a chance to run into a moose, or bear, or mythical sea monster, the chance to sing at the top of my lungs and have noone complain, and perhaps even get a smiley for doing so. Why do you ask? I was asked to look into Geocachine as a way to promote tourism, in the North Interlake (MB)
  5. What features would attract you to a cache? Difficulty, Tradeables, Distance from your location, etc.
