  1. Uploading an image to a Cache page is automatically scaled/adjusted to a smaller size when uploaded. I have a 'Panoramic' photo that I want to display on a Cache page, so I tried turning it 90 degrees, hoping the scaling would not be adjusted too much i.e. although sideways I was hoping the "up/down" would be "wide" enough to display a fairly larger image than normal, albeit, sideways.

Is there a trick/tip that I can use so that, preferably, the image can be shown in 'full' size?

  2. I have generated a QR Code for a new Cache Location using http://scansfer.com/ which contains Final Location and Description, and downloaded the file to my Laptop.

I want to include the QR Code in 'Geocache Description' just like this example :- http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2651N_royal-united-qr-cache

How do I do this? The 'options' ask for an http link!

The only way I've been able to show the QR code is by adding it into Gallery.

  3. I'm looking for an alternative 'unit' to use when I'm out and about Geocaching instead of my Samsung Tablet as the Tablet, although it does exactly what I want (without any Network costs :) ), is quite a bulky unit to use.

I was looking to get into the 21st century by buying a Smart Phone (was looking at the Huawei Ascend G620S) so I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone, by replacing my existing PAYG mobile phone (I only spend about £10 every 6 weeks) and use a PAYG Smart Phone to use for Geocaching instead of my Tablet.

Carphone Warehouse advise me that if I use the GPS features on any Smart Phone I will be charged for Data download useage which I don't want. In effect I want a smaller unit (about 5") than the Samsung Tab and be able to use it when Geocaching without being charged.

Anyone got any suggestions for a smaller alternative to a 7" Tablet?
