  3. i often go out with a few cachers, and was wondering if there is a good method of taking several pocket queries and comparing them to only return the caches that none of us have found? robert
  4. First off I would like to say thanks to Clyde for a great piece of software and for all of the time that you spend creatng and updating it. Not to mention answering questions here in the forums. Now for my question, I was working my way through automating v4. reading previous threads, scouring the web and using some trial and error. What I would like to do is to check a folder for PQs, upload them to a specific database based on their name, apply a saved filter, then export a few files from each database. Previous threads had some great examples posted by other users. Some had ideas that I had never even thought of and I was wondering if we might be able to see some of the same here. Any assisitance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Robert
  5. loading to the geocahing page using easygps first, get rid of easygps next get gsak (geocaching swiss army knife) it will allow you to set the icon of all waypoints on export. as well as build the names. for in stance i prefer a 10 character name code that is derived from the actual cache name to the gc number. much easier to read. for instance "along the creek" would load as "alongthecr" easier to differenciate from other caches than when it's named gccb79. from gsak export to mapsource mps and you're golder. my 2 cents
