WOOOHOOO...I FOUND AN EGG!!!!!!!- Over a 250 mile round trip venture off to Yuba City For an egg that was waiting for me for over a day at Maizie-GCZQPJ!...Funny thing is, my dogs name is Maizie, so knew it was mine! When I discovered that the Easter Coin Bunny had visited California again I figured that it was a "target drop" but after almost 2 days out in the wild and a little ivestigating I figured it was dropped for me!...or anyone that would get to it before me.- SO I WAS OFF! I was expecting about 80 miles one way, but it was over 125 mi. It was me, the Humboldt grin and Gizmo and had it not been for them "Egging" me on- I probably would have stayed to finish the work that I will now have to do 1st thing in the Morn. Its now 2:40 AM (and I left at 6:00PM) When we got to the site the cache was a Decoy Duck hidin in the bushes- I spotted it right away, but when the others spotted it I told them "WAIT- there a nesting duck down there" they both backed off and went elsewhere with there flashlights and my GPS. After searching all around they said "its like where the duck is" After my little chuckle I "wanted to pet the duck" so I reached in blocking their lights and "QUACK"-Out came the startled duck! Gizmo immediatley said "I thought that was a decoy"- Yeah right! At first I didnt see the egg, but when I looked- it was laying on it, just waiting to hatch it for me! When I popped it- out come the prettiest most sparkley little Blue and Gold Easter egg that I ever did see! After a little visit and restocking the egg with a Nickel Evil Micro I was off with my new treasure fondling it the whole way home! NOW COMES THE SAD PART When I got home I recieved an Email from a fellow cacher here on the forums that was headed out 1st thing in the morning with her 3 year old Granddaughter who saw my eariler post and just wanted to know which cache I was headed too. It turns out we both wanted the same egg -I cant help but feel bad, and since I got a GSA coin and she is still patiently waiting a GSA and a Easter bunny coin, I put up the proposition of if by Easter, there is no bunny or GSA that comes through her neck of the woods that I would arrange a special Bunny visit for the little one and her Grandma...After all-Im a 29 year old man who had the joy of finding it, I get the joy of enjoying it (Its right next to my GSA right now) and I sure hope not, but I may get the joy of giving it away too!- we'll just see what pops up in San Jose first. So for the sake of me and for the sake of a Grandma and her little one... Hopefully the Bunny can Hop on down to San Jose and drop another egg, or the GSA heads to So Cal again, but if not- Ive got an eager egg that wants nothing more that to be loved by a 3 year old and her Grandma! And here is my Maizie (She doesnt look anything like the cache, but shes cute) Had alot of fun goin after this one, all this work to do and here I am goin after an Easter Egg till 2:30 AM- Guess you can see my Priorities

HERES MY COINS! All of the 1st's are in a binder EXCEPT my GSA coin- It wasnt at home...it still sits right by me or yesterday I took it with me in my bag (dont ask me?) This pic is of all my coins- the only ones that are not here are coins that I have set aside for FTF prizes or activation, and a little box of my triples. The little brown box is all of my doubles for trade or release as well. The box with the mailers is also doubles and was my original storage before the Binder pages. Here all my 1st's spread out so you can see all them...Not too many rare coins, but I love them all. I forgot to take a pic of my dart board- It has all my pins on it. I have afew coin always on my shelf at work too that I can just grab and say "this is a geocoin- pretty cool eh?"

I just took a crew of 8 for their 2nd cache, the first time I had no camera but here are some pics of my friends kids and their cousins from So. Cal. I took them to my cache while out playin some Disc golf. A FREE FOR ALL! Little D and his GeoClaw- He just had to have it! Dont they look happy- Its only their 2nd cache- While we were playin some Disc, she asked me "are there any of those little GeoBoxes around"- I said "were takin a Detour" It was great fun and the kids loved it! Kids and caching just go hand in hand!

Ill definatley have to build a better Trade and Seeking list than my profile!, Heck I just learned the avitar thing, Links and Pics in one night, so It shouldnt be that hard...I hope. That was perfect...Thats all we wanted...Just to know we were there to brighten his day. And to brighten it so much as it sounds for him and his brother(we all got a 2fer)- I cant wait to see what he got from everyone...This was just too cool! So the next time we see your collection...it will be at least 18% bigger with a "Special coin" I remember my 1st special coin- It was my 1st Geocoin , The Masters of Cache, then it had to be the 1st coin I got at geocoinfest- My Event coin.

Just couldnt help myself after reading some of your logs and wanting nothing more than more pics...and I was still on here after hoping I would be outa here and on the road an hour ago!...So I figured Hey hes here this time...Ill give it another shot, so if you give me a Shot at my email Ill get a coin in route to you soon. Edited to say: I guess I like to give my coins away too, but since I offered one other to a newbie with none I got an email from another guy ASKING for a free coin...I gave him a little task or 2 to complete before he gets his. But I think It will be awhile before I go givin coins away again...Its just kinda fun!

Hopefully it will turn up, I have quite a few out there, so if one comes up gone-Its just another one gone...on with the game! That coin didnt have very good luck- but hopefully your next one will. I actually watched one of mine walk away...A newbie friend of mine took it, and when I asked if he got a coin out of the cache...He got this lost look, and said yeah...was I not supposed to. After I explained everything he said he would drop it in HI, then in Jersey- Well no coin drop yet, fortunatley it was one I had 3 of, so it wasnt a big deal. You may want to deface your coins as many do...they drill holes and put tags or locks on them, I personally engrave most of mine I send out into the wild- It makes them more personal too.

I like to see how everyone stores their coins, I had mine all in 4 boxes just before Geocoinfest. Then I rushed out, got some pages and made a binder, now I have all my 1st's in that binder. I also started to make a trades binder, but am only a few pages done. Before I got them all readily accessable I just thumbed tthrough them untill I found the one "I wanted to look at" One of the boxes was the coins I wanted to give at FTF prizes or spern of the moment drops, and always have at least 5 with me while Im caching-Just in case...and they are usually unactivated. I will post a pick Just for Jay Mills, if you havent read...He loves to look at these things! So for the sake of Jay...Post away! I wont be able to post till Mon. gotta head out and head North...Hopefully for some good caches. 2nd time around for this one- Hopefully youll have a chance... This is a little contest for Jay Mills...If you respond to this thread with in 10 minutes...I will send you a coin, Tried this before but you were already gone!...Heres you next chance!...
