DUDE!!! I just got a message from one of you that had set their alarm clock, as it was 6:00AM when the final call at 7:00 was in. They didnt make it! Thinkin ill do the same as I did for Gatoulis last year and call it the 8th wheel! My rules- FINAL! The 8th wheel has been awarded to Die_Anita! This is not #008 in the #007 limited edition series. LOL... I got in trouble today too! Didnt fuel up a van that I was supposed to have. I was gonna get on the Radio and announce to the Head of Transportation that I was sick of it and am GIVING MY 2 WEEKS NOTICE!!! Problem with that was gonna be IT WAS 2 WEEKS LATE!!! Had a whole schpeel bout how I had made plans to get a mechanic from up North to wrap up my current project, BUT she was already miffed, so I didnt! Goin through the emails, I stumbled across one from the mint!!! Looks like there was a delay in part from the washer company who had just been bought out of all their inventory!!! Every year when this thread rolls around this crap happens! Its not a california thing or even a national thing... ITS FREAKIN WORLD WIDE! DUDE, Im tellin ya! Good thing I bought stock in 5/8 washers, cuz Im a gazillionaire now! 3 people were trampled at our local Home Depot and another 4 just North of here! They're OK, but MAN! I can see trying to please everyone and making them readily available, But whats the point? Make a "Groundspeak" coin or somethin Why sell it? Kinda defeats the purpose at least in my eyes. I recently noticed that a White and a Green Jeep were last seen with this Yellow fellow at an event. Only those 2 are MIA. Recent logs may have an indication as to their whereabouts Sorry, couldnt help myself

True... It was just that you do all you can to ensure the right thing is done without taking measures such as this, just to find out that the measures you have taken were blatently dissregarded and issues that were addressed were persuaded into a decieving act. He basically lied to me after I insurred the correct action would have been taken. Its not the act of lying to me, its still the fact of the matter that he is selling others property that just so happens to be a highly coveted "Yellow Jeep" - Its wrong! He stated when I contacted him that NO others have brought this to his attention... Oh well, like I said- We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Moved a Yellow Jeep into one of Cali's oldest ORIGINAL caches bout a month ago! Placed a Green Jeep not too far away bout a month prior to that and again in a FTF that still sets Gots me a Red and a Green to place in my posession right now Sad because a Yellow Jeep was just SOLD ON EBAY this morn!!!

I contacted the seller, explained that it is owned by someone else and should NOT be included in his auction. He stated after a few emails that he would place it into a cache rather than selling it. TODAY the auction ended, I responded to a few logs left on the TB and one told me he IS going to include it in the listing. But rather that it is a bonus "gift"...whatever that means. Regardless, this Yellow Jeep is now going to end up in someones collection that BOUGHT IT!!! It may never see another geocache or even another discovery! The reference # for the jeep is TBH6PR http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...c2-8b81cf2ad760 It still shows to be in possesion of the seller, who grabbed it months ago. Feel free to contact him to let him know the intentions of Travel Bugs. I am just appauled that he lied to me that it will be placed and 2nd that he is selling anothers TB...A YELLOW JEEP AT THAT!!! Wish I came here when I noticed it, but tried to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and TAKE HIS WORD!!!

Cant tell ya what may be the problem with your order, but I have never had an issue with them. I got my order of GeoGems and GeoGold last month. When I ordered they appeared to have most all Gegems in stock. There site appears to be fine. Dont think they are "Out of Buisness". Have you contacted them since October? This makes perfect sense. The OP's point of view makes perfect sense too but there are too many variables to say one thing or another is the correct answer all the time. (Not that OP is saying that.) As to why sig. cards are not a substitute for a signature: Do I have any idea of how many trashed out, moldy, yucked up signature cards I have moved from cache to trash? Nope but it must be a biiiig number. And even a month in the winter can turn them into something most people wouldn't want to touch. Copy that! I actually collect the old tattered siggys I even swapped out a Brand New NCFlyers pencil that I grabbed (from my collection at home) to replace a "weather cured" vintage pencil that was all cracked to heck and faded! Grabbed a tattered and soaked RoadCow card that has WAAAY more character than any new one! They gots history!!! Kay, sorry bout that- I never heard of this practice before, but id say as many do... Play the game your own way. To each their own! Not that I agree with not signing the log, but HEY, if thats their gig- So Be It! We all play the game differently! I have signed the snottiest of logs, but wouldnt blink twice at just tossin a sig penny in one of them snotty log caches. I say "sign the log" is what caching is all about... I would not police others on how they wanna play their game, so as long as they are not logging caches they have never found, let em leave a sig. Really, id say its a mandatory practice to sign the log... But I dont make the rules and technically the only rules set in place for geocaching are set by Groundspeak all else are just guidelines Sign the log, Take something, Leave something- Or Not! I do believe that moving TBs should require a log though Just because I have relied on logs alone for tracking down travelers, but thats just me.

It got moved to the general caching forum...what sucks, is that it was pretty much MY FAULT!!! The Old Skool "Tokens are Cool" thread would probably still be around if it wernt for me! Never even got one stone tossed at me, so BRING IT ON!

Id love to host a 999 event, but unfortunatley I am in No Mans land as far as cachers go, so it'll probably be somebody from Central to Socal being San Jose or Sac to do the deed! Guess I could always partake in a mini 999 Then I couldnt make the real deal!
