Is it just me or does Cache-Tech not believe in freedom of speech. I was involved in a topic about the BC Ferry strike and my post was edited down to literally no words just for voicing my opinion and then closed. This strike happens to affect a great deal of local cachers here on the Isalnd and the Mainland. So listen up Cache-Tech if you don't like the fact that we are dicussing issues on an adult level don't read them. What are your views regarding the BC Ferry strike??? The Champ!!!

Good on you JRAV, thanks for setting the story straight. Nothing worse than having a story like this blown out of perspective. Hey everybody it's me GeoChamp, Leave it to me I'll see to it the problem is solved. I'll call my old buddy Puckerup from Roto Rooter he's used to dealing with dirty a%#holes. In my opinion this sort of disgusting activity should be left for the bedroom not in the public eye. I would definately inform the authorities it sure doesn't do much for tourism especially coming into peak tourist season. GeoChamp!

All I can say is that I would think it to be very rude and child like not to invite local cachers to an event. It takes a real man to extend an invitation regardless of any ill feelings. Curious George, I have to agree with you this crap must stop if we're going to come to some sort of resolve here. I am as guilty as the rest for contributing my thoughts. "Montythetool", before you start spouting off with your left wing remarks why don't you take a moment and get your facts straight. Team KFWB GPS has come on scene back in September and without question have been a huge supporter of the sport. They have literally given away thousands of dollars in equipment and cash and made the sport alot more interesting and fun, at least in this neck of the woods. I have to say that do to a few left wing goof balls like yourself the sport has certainly taken a change for the worst. It seems that every time people do something that has the word fun in it, it's not long before the pathetic souls of the world have to get in there and screw things up. In regards to donating GPS machines to children why don't you if it is so important, sell that piece of crap you call a plane and then donate as many GPS machines as you can with the proceeds. I personally have not seen any sort of an agenda on the Teams behalf, only very generous offerings to all of the local caching community. In closing I would like to say that a good flight plan for you to file would be a non-stop flight across the pacific. Do you think you could make it??? please just for me give it a try otherwise zip it bozo! GeoChamp.

It is with great saddness that I sit here and read about the TEAM's resignation. Like all things in life they come to an end. However, it would have been nicer to see this end on a positive note rather than a said note. I have come to realize that some people cannot be grateful for what they have or for what they are given, but for what they don't have and for what they want. I would like to take a moment and thank the TEAM for all that they have done to put smiles on so many faces. Personally I have not been able to do as many caches as I would like to have, do to my very busy work schedule. The couple of caches I've been to and the points gathered for WATCHERS, truly made for an enjoyable time. I now feel a bit of a void having not met the so many people I feel I have come to know through all the wonderful stories and pictures posted in your many caches.I would just like to say one more thing. Yesterday is already a dream and tommorrow is only a vision but today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tommorrow a vision of hope. TEAM if you remember all the happy times of yesterday and could muster up a vision for tommorrow I'm sure you would once again put alot of smiles back on some long faces. Take care and thankyou! Well to the few sour grapes who finally got what they were looking for I hope you have some great caches planned. As a matter of principle I certainly cannot see myself wasting time or money going after any of your caches. Perhaps some of the other cachers will find just as much enjoyment in your caches as they found in the TEAM caches. I think you are totaly selfish individuals concerned only in your own little world. Yellowcode3 I think you’ve summed it up perfectly. I’m sure that along with all you have stated there is probably dozen’s more motivating factors that drive people to cache. However, the bottom line is who really cares or who really has time to care, if you like it do it if you don’t like it don’t do it. My response to Mariner having starting this thread, and being so persistent in finding out if money is what is motivating people to do some of these caches, is it’s none of your business what motivates me and should really be none of your business what motivates others. Why don’t you start minding your own business and forget about what motivates others and concentrate on your own “LITTLE” world and what it is that motivates you to talk to a tree, shed a tear over a great view, earn money so that you to can cache or anything else you feel fit to do. In the meantime I personally think this thread stinks, is boring, and is starting to take away from the fun of caching. In closing, Mariner and Cacherunner I’ll tell you what motivates me to write in this fashion, petty, nosy, busybody, jealousy, just to mention a few out of many. What I would love to see is for you guy and girl to saddle that rubber duck and sail off into the sunset forgetting all the small stuff. Loonie Easter Bunnies, I agree that attacking a person or persons in a forum should be kept to a minimum. However, the person who started this thread and some of the persons responding should be reminded of this. As I see it this entire thread is an attack on a person or persons and should be archived. As I stated in my earlier post this "GAME"/"SPORT" is just that and should not be taken so seriously. As for me this is not about the money as some of the other players can attest I offered assistance at no cost for "A Watchers Point of View". I quite enjoy reading the interesting adventures and how players have come to join forces and turn it into something fun. I personally can't wait to be in on one of these big caches. I was set to do "Watchers" but was unable to do to work. I do not think that anyone should have to archive a cache, just do what makes you happy and don't complain. As soon as I can get a bit more time I will be placing and finding more caches myself, until then I can only read and learn of what the others are doing and the different strategies used. Hey! Hey! Hey! Rubber Ducky and Running from caches it’s me GeoChamp! I would just like to say that I’m new to the “GAME” of caching and unfortunately do to my busy work schedule I haven’t been able to do as many caches as I would like to. However, I have been following the “TEAM” caches that have been taking place on both the island and mainland and personally think that they are great from all accounts. I think that anyone who has taken the time and continues to take the time to set up adventures like this at no charge to anyone should be fully commended. I personally take my hat off to the “TEAM” for all their hard work and effort keep up the good work. Mariner and Cacherunner I think its time you stop taking the “GAME” so seriously, from everything that I’ve read I don’t recall the “TEAM” ever asking for one penny and or anyone to equal any of their caches or items in their caches. I cannot believe someone making such a silly statement like there will be no room left to put caches out if they keep putting them out at this rate. Give me a break, why don’t you put some effort into getting a little more creative instead of whining. Also, if you took the time to meet more of the local players and go do some of these caches with them you may have had a new GPS before Santa came seeing that the “TEAM” has only given away about a dozen of them. It’s amazing to me that a hand full of sour grapes can take something fun and educational and turn it into another form of bureaucracy full of do’s and don’ts. Maybe we should all start our own web pages and threads to express our feelings and emotions, getting the likes of Dr.Phil involved just so we can really screw things up. My advice to the sour grapes and whiners is I think it’s time you start having fun with the geocaching“GAME” being that’s all it is. Oh, and buy the way this is my opinion and I’m entitled to it. Ever since I’ve been the GeoChamp!!! PS. I think this thread should be archived not anyone’s caches.
