We need at least 3 more to attend our "Hello, I'm Johnny Cache" party in mid February. But you've got to find Johnny to get an invite disc. The more the merrier! Check out the comments for this one. I think people are enjoying it. Hope you can be one of the next three to find him so you can join us Feb 15th(limited to first 12). Good luck. Oh, he's in zip code 38134 if that helps you find him faster.

No,I didn't really think a ranger would spot it but now that you mention it I should tell one of them it's there just in case they see it. Also, I don't have that sheet in there that explains what it is to non-cachers. Thanks for the tip and appreciate the kind words.

Feb15 is not that far off...really
Appreciate the kind words. I worked a long time on this guy. Thanks to Memphisdude for his tools and guidance. Be looking for the next one bitbrain....Kitty Kache!

Awaiting approval from Geocache. Should be in either the 38134 or 38120 area code. Enjoy.
For first 12 visitors there is a SPECIAL treat. Be a part of Geocaching history in the making!

Rubbertoe, thanks for the post. But MY Johnny Cache will hopefully be entertaining although, as you point out, apparently not an original thought.

p.s. Has there been a June Carter Cache made?..lol
Don't worry bitbrain. Johnny is NOT in a Ring of Fire..lol. Nor is he going to be "Going to Jackson". Finished him last night nearly. Just needs a few coats of Kilz and paint and oh..got to add his guitar. I hope everyone enjoys. I live in East Memphis so for my own convenience I'll probably be hiding him on that side of town . But , I also have some other ideas for him depending on his popularity or lack of it. Hope to "plant" him this weekend.

Brushing up on latitude longitude since I just bought my Garmin Rino 120. When I see a latitude of N 35 07.126 is the "07.126" minutes and seconds or just minutes? I usually see positions in either decimal (example 35.439912) or degrees minutes and seconds (example 35:26:23.683N). So when I see N35 07.126 I"m looking at 35 degress and then minutes and seconds in decimal form? There are several good websites to convert degrees minutes and seconds to decimal degrees but you only use the two forms I showed above in my examples. Can't wait to find my first cache. I"m going tonight maybe.
