Beim Fußball wird seit 1870 mit elf Spielern ein Lederball in ein eckiges Dings geschoben, da wird seit dem an Grundfesten auch nicht gerüttelt, weil unnötig.
Wer elektronisch Logbücher beschreiben möchte, kann das ja als Adventure Lab Cache machen, oder es gibt auch noch andere Spiele, bei denen man QR Codes findet, Monster fängt, Portale captured und Felder baut, Blumen pflanzend durch die Gegend läuft oder auch einfach nur Flaggen einsammelt.
Die Grundfeste dieses Spiels ist ganz einfach: Gehe zu den Koordinaten, finde einen Container, nimm das Logbuch, schreibe deinen Nickname in das Logbuch, freue dich!
Alles andere ist optional.-

Alles tolle Ideen, aber nicht publishbar.
Das HQ ist da sehr eindeutig, auch das bereits benannte Elektronische Logbuch funktioniert nur mit einem echten Papierlogbuch, und das stand bei dem ursprünglichen Distributor auch drin, und diese eindeutigkeit spiegelt sich auch in den Beispielen für Logbücher wieder.

Sorry dich enttäuschen zu müssen, zum einen sind die Guidelines sehr explizit, und auch die Appeals Entscheidungen des Geocaching HQ sehr eindeutig:
Must include logbook
For all physical caches, there must be a logbook for geocachers to record their visit. The logbook must be
- Physical
- Replaceable
- Easy to sign
- Enclosed within a container
Examples: Notebook, paper scroll.
Ein Geocachelogbuch muss immer physisch sein und derart gestaltet sein, dass man sich mit einem Stift eintragen kann.Hier gibt es so gar keinen Interpretationsspielraum für ein elektronisches Logbuch.

That's how we started geocaching 15 years ago:we found a small erratic stone formed and rounded in the last ice age in a perfect size for a garden project, with a lock &lock container underneath. And tbh, that stone is still in our garden, but we've placed another stone on top, but not as beautiful as the former one (and told the COs a few weeks later what we did)!

Wären diese Caches bei uns, und wir würden die Frage nach dem Eintritt für die 4 Caches im Gartenschaupark Rietberg bekommen würden wir das ganze vermutlich ablehnen.
Hintergrund: Lt. Impressum wird der Park betrieben von der Gartenschaupark Rietberg GmbH - Geschäftsführer Johannes Wiethoff.
Das ganze ist zwar eine GmbH der Stadt, wäre das ganze aber auf keinerlei Gewinnerziehlung ausgerichtet, wäre hier nicht eine gGmbH als Gesellschaftsform gewählt worden?
Da nach den Guidelines keine Caches so gelegt werden dürfen, die das Betreten von kommerziell agierenden Unternehmen nötig machen, würden wir vermutlich die Caches deswegen ablehnen.
@hcy hat recht, wir erlauben geringe Eintrittsgebühren bei nicht kommerziell agierenden Betreibern.
Zwei hier schöne Beispiele sind https://coord.info/GC19CFH https://coord.info/GCR10B bei denen du jeweils einen hanseatischen Kirchturm hoch musst. Diese Eintrittsgebühren werden eingesammelt vom St. Petri Kuratorium vertreten durch: Pastor Dr. Bernd Schwarze bzw. Der Kirchengemeinderat Evangelisch-Lutherische Gemeinde der Hauptkirche St. Petri zu Hamburg. Beides sind Körperschaften des öffentlichen Rechts und somit per dejure nicht in der Lage kommerziell zu agieren.

We really appreciate this feature as this is exactly what we have been waiting for and needed a workaround for a long time.
However, we would like to share a few thoughts about the feature.
The player location icon/dot is way too similar to the nearby ALC stations, a pink unicorn (or a green frog
just in case a pink unicorn ist too fancy) would be much easier to distinguish.
Background to this:
while caching in saturated areas and in exzessive use we've tried to open our own dot as location, which led to frustrations until we realized we've clicked on ourselves in several occasions

Zoom factor.
as DougyB has already written, the zoom factor is always set to the largest extent of the ALC displayed on the screen.
ALC which coveres a wide area:
ALC that covers a small area:
But if this happens in a highly saturated area, the app quickly reaches its performance limit.
However, as we see it, this feature is not needed for ALCs that are distributed over a larger area. We would be very happy if the zoom factor would be fixed as soon as this feature is activated, so that the app is not brought to its performance limit and this feature is still usable.

Die haben unsere Player auch, wir haben da einfach eine lange Bandschlinge mit ein paar Schellen angetüddelt, so das eine(e) von uns beiden den Mast einfach wie einen Rucksack tragen kann. Nix mit unkonfortabel. -

Da ist kein Interpretationspielraum in irgendeiner Richtung.
Keine Nennung von Kommerziellen Unternehmen, keine Verlinkung, keine Bewerbung.
Wir versuchen objektiv an ein Listing heran zu gehen, da ist es halt nicht mehr objektiv, wenn wir entscheiden, dass die Sparkasse Lüdenscheid Nord als Referenzpunkt genannt werden kann (peile vom Eingang der Sparkasse 50m in 50°), wenn auf der anderen Seite die Aufstellung der Tante Emma Läden im Kiez als Commercial abgelehnt wird.Um diesem Konflikt aus dem Weg zu gehen, ist dieses hier nun einmal so strikt.
Und "die kommerziellen Trittbrettfahrer" gibt es ja trotzdem und das auch ganz offiziell. Wenn du/oder jemand anderes ein Gewerbe promoten möchtest, kannst du das sehr gerne machen, sprich die Marketing Abteilung des Geocaching HQ an, die werden dir sicherlich die Vorteile der Geotouren oder anderen Promotions vorstellen (auch dieses hatten wir im vorherigen Post bereits verlinkt)!

You can set up an rss feed on the gallery of a cachelisting.
If you're having a designated RSS-Reader on your phone/computer (e.g. we're using a telegram-bot for that) you can add:

You can copy the GUID by simply opening the gallery et voilá you'll find it in the browserbar.
Another really nice build in feature is the "Cache owner dashboard" which you'll find at https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner.
Our playeraccount is using it as a landingpage to enter the website, just to make sure everything is alright whith our caches (our local community is still waiting for the day, that our reviewer-account is writing a nag-note to our playeraccount). You'll find the latest logs, with pictures and added favorite points right there.-

The Geocaching HQ had told the reviewer community in 2017, that it is okay to use an autoresponder for Virtual Reward Caches.
If you don't want to give away your private e-mail for privacy concerns, you can use a short time e-mail adress or an e-mail adress used just for this usecase (like old for Earthcaches (nowadays ECs with autoresponders won't be published), Virtuals or Mysteries).-

There was a "owner attention requested" or at that time "Needs maintenance" log on June 16th 2019 which was deleted. The original log from that cacher doesn't show any evidence that anything was wrong, so we assume, that it was made in error and deleted by that cacher.

Just for classification: 50% of our team was born and raised in Lübeck, known as the Queen of the Hanseatic League. Both of us are Lübecker Kaufleute (Lübecks Merchantpeople), so we live in, with and from parts of the Hanseatic League.
Churches played a great role at the Hanseatic League as well as the town halls. The most powerfull parts of the Hanseatic League were the merchants, not the kings, dukes.
They decided what happend in those cities.
Only the clergy had some powers over the merchantmens.
Lets talk about that for a while: The City Council (which was 100% made of merchants, no Kings, no Queens, no Noblesse) had their own church which inhabited the city treasure. So if you want the Hanseatic League, you can't decline the churches.
City Walls and city gates: The Hanseatic League had it's peak times in the closing mediaval times, where the times where rougher and peace was the exception, so one city had to defend them and their goods, as the City of the Hanseatic League were rich. So city walls and gates were essential for the wealth and so for the groth of the Hanseatic League.
Without walls and gates, there wouldn't have been any Hanseatic League.-

Aunque en principio las revisiones se intentan hacer dentro de los primeros 7 días, sé que siempre depende de la disponibilidad de los equipos de revisoras, pero lo que me extraña es que ya camino de las dos semanas en revisión, se hayan publicado cachés "por la zona" aparentemente más nuevos que el mío.
Con el tiempo que hace que no jugaba os podéis imaginar las ganas que tenía de publicar, y vistas las últimas publicaciones pensaba que no hubiera pasado algo o hubiera algún problema.
El 24/02 utilicé una Nota al Revisor para preguntar, y ayer escribí un email, pero en ningún de los dos casos he recibido respuesta.

Your cache has been submitted correctly on Jan 31th, Feb 5th, Feb 14th (4 times), Feb 16th and now on Feb 24th.
Everytime you stop the reviewprocess and resubmit the listing it fades to the end of the review queue, and waiting for your reviewer starts again.
Just be patient, and in the near future, one of your reviewer will surely take care of your listing.

Weil wir uns in Deutschland in Regionalteams aufgeteilt haben: Nord, Ost, West dazu noch die Teams die NRW, Bayern und BaWü reviewen.
