GPS will not turn on or off unless hooked to a computer. The clock will spin and then screen goes dark. Batteries have been changed. Battery terminals have been cleaned. Unit has been reset (pushing the button in the USB ). Software has been updated. And it is one month out of warranty.

Any one else had this problem. I have reset and uploaded new software. It works when plugged into the computer with the power on, but as soon as I unplug it, the unit basically will not respond.

Does anyone know of a GPS that downloads to mac. Tried to get the trex - did not work. Looked at the explorist gc- is not compatible with mac
