  1. . . . and the Pokey Plodders' event is up: GC250N2: Pokey Plodders Go Ape. The plan is to bring something to share (or not!) for breakfast, then off we go. All you AHOTMers can go on ahead while we Pokey ones follow our usual MO: Plodding.
  2. 3, 18, 13, 30, 31 These days, i've been playing a lot of Texas Hold 'Em.
  3. Also still waiting, but haven't been home yet to check the mail. But I'm hopeful and my fingers are crossed.
  4. Just a few thoughts . . . I agree that there is too much blank space, white or otherwise. However, to me, it seems to be related to column width. Some are certainly too wide, while others not wide enough. Additionally, my 'Your Friends' page which used to be neatly displayed is now a mess, with huge blank spaces scattered through out. Each friend's space is no longer uniform in size. I made an attempt to edit a picture that I had uploaded to my cache page for Blue Moon (GC22G6T) but ended up with a 404 - File or directory not found error when I clicked on an Edit link. On my 'Profile for User: FluteFace' page, my homepage link, which should go to fluteface.com no longer works, instead pointing to http://www.geocaching.com/controls/fluteface.com. I've looked at a few others, and my problem seems to be an isolated incident. Oh . . . and if you felt like adding more purple as you go through your design process, I certainly wouldn't' mind!
  5. Others that come to mind: Alaska 2006 - .999 Silver/Gold Leaf eragonSaphira LE (South Africa) Geocache America (.999 Silver) Nevada 2005 .999 silver
  6. I would guess that the coins have not been shipped yet. But life gets in the way of truly important stuff! ;-) An update from the OP would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  7. So just where do we stand with this?
  8. Donation also sent. I also meant to mention that it was made in memory of my very much loved mother-in-law Ki Specht. I miss her.
  9. W00t! Got it!! Oooo! And in a cemetery, no less!
  10. Hmmm . . . well, I don't consider myself particularly teased, and in no way am I even a little bit titillated but it is an interesting coin. ;-)
  11. I'd be happy to take anything in WA, OR, ID or CA. These are the ones I'd love to adopt: the Devil's Postpile ECs - GC1FE0J, GC1FE0F, GC1FE0F Travertine Hot Springs - GC1DTQN Red Rock Pass - Lake Bonneville Flood - GC15FH5 Pothole Dome - Glacial Feature - GC1QN2J Yosemite Valley River Meander - GC1QN2P the Burney Creek ECs - GC1X77J, GC1X720, although they look kind of new Ancient Mt. Shasta Debris Avalanche - GC1X3AK, although it looks new, too However, I'd be happy to help with whatever you need. Thanks, Flutey
  12. It might be easier to repost than edit. :-)
  13. It seemed to me that the sale, although not perfect, went better than those in the recent past. Things seemed to go well with me although I had to be patient as things were slow. I wonder if the server/software or ?? is really equipped to handle this kind of influx at one time, keeping in mind that this is a small business, and not Amazon.com. Was there really a limit on some of those coins? Anyway Tsun, thanks for the fun -- your hard work and dedication is hugely appreciated.
  14. I've been unable to download just one cartridge (so far) -- Spencer Island for Colorado. Yes, I'm signed in. The following is generated at the top of the page, but the download never starts. I love a good link to it if somebody has it, or an e-mail. ----------------- Error During Upload System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.ApplicationException: Exception of type 'System.ApplicationException' was thrown. at Groundspeak.Wherigo.ZonesEngine.ZonesEngineDll.LuaDoFile(String filename) at Groundspeak.Wherigo.ZonesLinker.ZonesLinker.CreateZonesFile(String luaFilename, String binaryFilename, String cartridgeId, String playerName, Int64 playerId, String completionCode, DeviceType targetDevice, EngineVersion engineVersion, Boolean bObfuscate) at Groundspeak.Wherigo.ZonesLinker.ZonesLinker.CreateZonesFile(String luaFilename, String binaryFilename, String cartridgeId, String playerName, Int64 playerId, String completionCode, DeviceType targetDevice, EngineVersion engineVersion) at Wherigo.CartridgeService.ExtractCompileCartridgeWithMetaData(GWZMetaData gwzMetaData, String gwzFilename, String cartridgeId, Int64 playerId, String playerName, DeviceType deviceType, String completionCode, String binaryFilename) at Wherigo.CartridgeService.GetCompiledCartridgeWithMetaData(GWZMetaData gwzMetaData, String CartridgeFileName, String CartridgeId, Int64 PlayerId, String PlayerName, DeviceType deviceType, String CompletionCode) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at Wherigo.GSPCartridgeService.CartridgeService.GetCompiledCartridgeWithMetaData(GWZMetaData gwzMetaData, String CartridgeFileName, String CartridgeId, Int64 PlayerId, String PlayerName, DeviceType deviceType, String CompletionCode) at cartridge_download.btnDownload_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) 12:24p: Problem appears to have been an issue on the CO's side. He's fixed it and I've been able to download it. :-)
  15. Wow! That was all very interesting. I may have managed to get one . . . time will tell! I only saw the Mythical Nutella Hopper. I'm trying to decide if it was real or not!
  16. I'm fairly sure I've run into the answer to this one before, but now (when I need it!) I can't seem to turn it up. What are the rules concerning the development of an EC at a location where a traditional cache already exists? Is there a minimum distance the EC needs to be from the traditional? Do I need an ok from the traditional CO? I think I've heard (read?) that an EC could literally be within a few feet of a traditional so long as the ECO had the blessing of the traditional CO. Thanks for the help! Doh! After some digging, I found it! For those who were curious, the answer can be found in this thread. This can be closed (or deleted!) Thanks!!
  17. Oh my, thanks so much! I'm very excited!
  18. I think I need to be properly introduced to the appropriate and correct ways to consume Nutella in SLC! ;-)
  19. I'm hard pressed to give money in advance to somebody who has no track record and has shown no committment to the geocaching community - no caches or trackables shown on his profile.
  20. Please sign me up - FluteFace / Margaret. Email to follow! :-)
  21. Adressing ATMouse's problem: I love seeing them all, but AtlantaGal is right. My suggestion is that you temporarily break the links on three until tsun has made her difficult decisions. After that, put them back up 'cause they're wonderful. They other thing that comes to my mind is there might be somebody who wants to use similar colors, but won't with all of yours up there. (That seems a bit unlikely to me, but you never know.)
