  1. I am trying to access the geocaching maps with multiple caches on them. I am a premium member running Win98SE. A sample site I cannot see the map of is http://www.geocaching.com/map/getmap.aspx?...lon=-122.541017. I have a Windows ME machine and a Pocket PC that can see the map. My understanding of the ASPX extension is that it is server based and is supposed to render its response to a HTML file and is browser friendly. I have re-installed IE6, Active X, and VB. I am at a total loss. I can see all other images and maps on the site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Thanks for all the help Team Demp. It sdriving me crazy. I guess we were talking apples and oranges. I'm about to try repairing or re-installing internet explorer.
  3. I am running windows 98SE. Show picture does not work. Here is a sample url that is not working correctly. http://www.geocaching.com/map/getmap.aspx?...lon=-122.290233. This is the only type of map or image that I can't see.
  4. I can view the map file. However, when I go to teh DOS window I get a bad command or file name.
  5. I see a map that is a gif image with Rush Branch in the upper right corner. I have not tried to do the fixes from the other post yet.
  6. I am a premium member and have been unable to see the geocaching.com maps on one of my computers. I can see them on another computer on the same network and on my pocket PC. All I see is a small white box with a red x in it. I can't get it to open up if I right click and tell it to show my pictures. I have compared settings in internet explorer and found them to be the same. I suspect this might be a java application??? but am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have already tried to install the most recent java runtime with no luck. I suspect something might be corrupted in my system but need to know where to look.
  7. I can't get the maps either. Has been a problem since yesterday.
  8. After reading this thread just discovered my cracks. I have a Sportrak pro D/C 2002. Has sat in my drawer for the past year and only recently using it. Unfortuneately just out of warranty. However, good to know.
