  2. I got excited today when I looked at the yahoo website and Geocaching was number 8 of the top ten searches forthe day.
  3. I was wandering thru a wooded area in Sarasota Florida, at the Seista Key beach, when a young man, Man I sounded old just then(I am 32) asked me if I was a Biologist. I replied yes that I was looking for abandoned Alligator nests to tak back to my lab, and he went about his business without asking another question.
  4. That point about the liquids is really good. I hadn't thought of that. I used to hold cachers to a higher standard but someone made the same point that they are just like everyone else. I never really thought about it but that is a good point about my hand sanitizer, I may have to rethink putting those in there. I trust myself, but I am not sure I would trust it if I found one in the container. But I also don't do real well with germs in the first place so that alone would keep me from touching a strange bottle Instead of a bottle of hand sanitizer, you could leave some antibacterial wipes. You can get a travel pack of them for $1 at Target or a box of 24 individual foil packed ones for about $3.50. There you go I have found a new item to leave, as soon as I get rid of the last of my germex bottles i'll be purchasing antibacterial wipes for a dollar, thanks
  5. A guy I work with always talked about geocaching, and I mentioned it once in passing to my wife, I wasn't really interested, but I was making conversation. A few months later, she saw a GPS on sale, and mentioned we should try geocaching. We bought it, and 87 caches later she hasn't been on one hunt yet. But My son and I enjoy it
  6. Generally what I do with travels bugs in my caches, is I take some out when I go on trips, amd then I replace them with new travels bugs when I get back home. That way I keep travel bugs moving from my containers

  8. I always leave a small container of hand sanitzer when I find a container. I figure its more useful than a burger king toy

  10. I dont have a picture of it because, I never have my camera, but My first micro container I made was a receptacle box with a light swith, and receptacle, I placed it outside near a water feature at our church on a standing piece of electrical conduit , so if the a muggle see it they wont think anything of it. I will post a picture when I get one heres a link and then the fish could see
