I would immediately disassociate myself with said cacher and accept the fact that some folks are just butt heads, but I don't need to be around them if I choose not to be. Just my $.02.....cache on.

I love to cache and ride! I use a RAM mount that is highly adjustable. It can hold just about any hand held unit with it's sliding, clamping style locker. I have used a GPS Map76Cx and now run a 60CSx both work really well for caching. As far as navigating the streets I have no complaints, but I did need to buy the City Navigator Software to get any real good map datum. If you choose this route, remember to always, always laynard your GPSr with a good girth hitch or it just may come out of the holder at 55 or faster mph! Trust me on this one. Cache on!

Hey all! I was having this same problem after only having my 60CSx for 3 days! One day I was praising it and the next I wanted to smash it into tiny pieces! Today when I turned it on to go caching the satellite page just came up blank except for "Locating Satellites" no bars, no icons, no nothing. I let it set for awhile to no avail. I tried the menu options for New Location, GPS on and off and turned the unit on and off several times. Nothing worked. I called Customer Service and they tried a couple forms of press this button while holding that button and power up at the same time....... nothing. OK OK OK OK Hold this button and this button and stand on one foot while you power up.......nothing. OK OK OK OK Tap this button, while holding this button, power up while running in ever decreasing circles........nothing. Then I read this thread and took the advice with down loads / updates on-line and whamo! She is up and running again. I don't know how it dropped all the software and firmware, but it did. I can't wait to get out tomorrow and get some caches. I was going into serious withdraws. Cache on!

No, I don't think that is over the line! I have one as part of a Multi. How about this??A deer skull with antlers?? Is that over the line because I just found one in the woods caching the other day and I was thinking of sticking a 35mm container in it's eye socket and making it a traditional??? Perhaps "Rudolphs Last Cache" for all the kids. Am I sick or is that cool? hehehehe
