  1. I would leave it. Just add more to your description to explain the why you brought people to the location. Just my 2 cents. Edit for spelling
  2. So this doesn't work like an elevator button?!?!?!
  3. Sugar nips That had me on the floor for a few minutes.
  4. I found keeping the GPS inside my coat using body heat always works. I would take out the GPS when I need to glance at it. I also do this for my digital camera and cell phone.
  5. I hear you can get around hurting the rock by attaching your cache to a wire hanging around the rock, but only if you get permission. Oh, and make sure the wire isn't made of copper. And for God's sake, do NOT walk on the grass to get to the rock. The problem with this is someone may try to steal the copper wire to sell. Use string which does not have a high resale value.
  6. I had to download Garmin Spanner to get my 60cx to work with Streets and Maps. It creates a virtual com port for S&M
  7. If you use GSAK they have a "Cache Warefare" macro that might suit your needs. http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=...amp;#entry44556
  8. Isn't the rate hike only a courtesy due to the gas rates? I mean it's only fair since the reviewers physically check each and every cache .
  9. This is made from PVC pieces, you can get at most any hardware store. The ends are bought as is, and you may be able to get some short lenghths of the straight piece and cut to length. I know the parts are from a hardware store. It's the insides, I want to know about. I made a larger version of this cache. Try searching for "Monkey Cache" if you dont have any luck let me know and I can help as best I can. Is this what you did on the inside? Very close to that yes. Mine is about twice the size the original so i had to make a few modifications due to the size.

  11. Everything was running slow today. This is an accidental second post. Please close.
  12. I found a benchmark in the woods today but I am unable to find any information on this particular mark. I search the NGS website but still unable to locate any information. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. I have a Dell Axim X5 with PPC 2003. With this unit I have a Ftech xtrac 2 model FGPCFCD01 GPS receiver. I have been direct to the website http://www.f-tech.com.tw/Eng/Index.htm where I can then find the driver. The problem I am finding is this driver is for a PC not a PPC. Can anyone guide me in installing the proper drive for this GPS? Thnaks for the help. Here is a pic of the GPS in case I have the wrong driver.
  14. I absolutely LOVE this idea for a TB!! One I will copy for sure...
  15. When you finish packing the cache just permanently seal the cache. This will save time for the finder as they wont have to worry about repacking.
  16. At the moment I have 3 PQ for home, work and a friends house. I just use GSAK to choose my center point. It is a great way to sort by location.
  17. Start here. http://www.geocaching.com/about/hiding.aspx
  18. I carry a travel bug with me. That way when I meet another cacher they can discover the bug and I have a way a remembering who i have met. Call me a walking cache.
  19. Which House Resolution was this? I believe I was eating at the bistro at that time and missed it.
  20. Did you just use straight and liberal democrats in the same sentence? You should be ashamed of yourself. How offensive. We have an "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy here. Please rephrase the question.
  21. Toe nails, finger nails or both? If I were going to the Horatio's Metrosexual Day Spa on the corner of 5th and Petunia Street right next to the quaint little bistro that Fifi just loves to death, which I am not saying that I know anything about, then it would probably be both. Sheer indulgances like this should be not be just for special occassions. That is if I knew anything about that kind of stuff, which I surely do not. hey I have been to that place! Umm the bistro that is! yeah! Antonio? Is that you? SHHHHHHHH! Oh and don't tell rathergohiking. He might think I was hiding micros in sandwiches and yell at me. You know I can't handle that that stress. Oh god I need to go get my hair done now to relax.
