that is the error coin-- Lol Its true... they don't spell anything. Originally they posed spelling 'help' in semaphore... but the photographer thought the arm positions didn't make for a good picture so they improvised. The picture as we see it today is also reversed. If you hold it to a mirror they kindof spell LPUS (help us?). Great coin material if you ask me.

well he did say to post absurd coin ideas here I think the HELP! geocoin would sell a few hundred... at least I tried to come up with a way to make it fit into geocaching

Personally I think this is a good call by pay-pal. Pre-sales work well for small sales... like back when geocoins were not as popular. Today all I'd have to do is create plans for a geocoin... pre-sell hundreds of them and a few limited editions and then run off to Mexico with the money... obviously it would be weeks before anyone noticed.

I know for a fact that he only has one other Indy Diver coin and that one is #001 and he'll never get rid of that one. Then I guess any collectors wanting one will have to consider bidding on these. Even 10% to charity is better than none. I'd bid but I think other people obviously have more money to spare than me.

I see two of them... one is 100% charity and one is 10% is there something I missed? edit: ok I noticed in the 100% auction it said he saved the last 10... which might lead you to think he has 10, but I don't think that is the case. Even if he did they will all sell for big $$$

I have a Sony DSC-W1 its a pretty nice camera... 5mp, 3x zoom... pretty much point and shoot though I have had some problems with blury pictures (mostly from me moving too much in low light conditions). Most everything in my Gallery after September '04 are reduced size images from that camera. Now if I'd only take more pictures... hate to think of how many times I've packed my camera around without snapping a single shot. My opinion is most major camera brands with 5mp or better are going to give you high quality pics... the size and detail are more than most people need... just look around and find one you like.

Its been my opinion since I started geocaching that you can tell the best caches by the length of the log entries. So when I find a good cache I usually write a bit more than usual... I've never hit the max characters alowed though.

to top it off now we have to wait until Feb 1

I got my second issue a couple weeks back as well. They have always been a bit disorganized... for the first issue I ordered extra copies and had to write to get them sent to me. The only thing I ever actually read monthly is the Serial Finder story... I'm disapointed that they are behind on publishing by a day as I need to find out what happens this chapter.

Well I doubt the eBay craziness will end just because we post the true price. Lets face it you can see coins still for sale at reasonable prices sell for $30 on eBay... that is what eBay does to people... Its like a disease. Anyway original blazerfan coins from KVcoins $375 - 100 pewter coins (unlimited color, though I think they charge differently now) $150 - die fees $40 - numbering $40 - ridged edges total - $605 They have their prices on the website and they stuck to them... no surprizes at all... just a long wait.

Well I went to make changes to my list and found my membership downgraded... then came and read what had happened. Its a shame I lost my new list, but stuff happens... I understand all too well what it is like to rely on an outsourced service. I take it I'll be restored soon so I can rebuild my list. I guess you have already chosen a new provider, but it might be a good idea to check out a few and see if they have Audit reports such as a SAS70 that you can view. The report should outline any potential problems. I would think any larger hosting company should have such a report available.

hahaha... this reminds me of my system... I've probably sent a half dozen emails over the last year asking "did I already send you a coin?" I even managed to send one trade to Idaho rather than Michigan (just a slight difference) I've decided to give cointracking.com a try. I created a trading list and when I have a Ver 2 coin made I'll probably create an Edition to keep track of trades. We'll see how well it works.

I don't know how many coins I have... but I do know that in my new binder my collection weighs 15 pounds.

forgot to mention I got mine last week. Great looking coin... I'd probably trade it for a Team FISUR or Indy Diver if anyone was interested.

Well I joined up and will try it out. I think the logging of a virtual might be one of the hardest for me... my nearest unlogged virtual is 41.8 miles.
