  1. The photos are on Face book. Which Harmon isn't on. Don't tell him what they are saying on Facebook.
  2. 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct! I don't know WHAT you are talking about. Something bad happened for all San Diego fans shortly before you posted that.... You don't say!?.... I never heard about an earthquake. I thought the fires/rain/mudslides were North of SD.... And may I add that I have been so concerned about little Falcon Heene that I hardly watch anything else. O yeah, I can see how you would be a proud Denver fan ... a UFO nut-case balloony, an annual Mike the Headless Chicken Festival, and an aging rocket-scientist not to mention names. Sheesh! You can't be talking about me. I'm a young guy.
  3. Making it up to 12,000 feet, not bad for this late in November!
  4. Wassup: Mitral valve repair -- Part deux Wennzit: Thursday at way too early in the morning. Good Luck James.
  5. Nice pictures Chris. Who is that wimp with the boots on in the river? She climbs mountains in flip flops, but has to have rubber boots to cross the river. What's with that?
  6. Pat...you are too Funny...but I don't have SNAGIT so how do I show you my results...which I don't think are good.... http://www.speedtest.net/result/944698862.png test You can download a free program here that works as well, if not better than SNAGIT: http://ffextensionguru.wordpress.com/2007/...no-longer-free/ Use the link for version 5.3 which is free.
  7. Same problem here. I bought a subscription yesterday and have tried to download various areas at various resolutions and they all fail. Looks like Garmin needs to get their act together, particularly since they are charging money for this thing.
  8. Does anyone know if Ram Mount or anyone else makes and adapter that allows you to mount a Garmin rail mount to a Ram Mount base? The new GPSMAP 62 series units use the same rail mount as the Oregon and Colorado so the standard Garmin mount will work but Ram Mount does not make a cradle for the 62 yet. Thanks - RocketMan
  9. Welcome to geocaching Famagee. If you are interested in meeting and getting together with other geocachers, first I would suggest that you attend an event or two. If you just go to the list of all caches in Colorado, you will find the events at the top of the list: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?state_id=6 Another place you can look if you want to meet up with other cachers is in the local forums. They have a specific section called "Let's Go Caching": http://www.geocachingcolo.com/forums/ You can post a planned cache run there. Good Luck and hope to see you at the 4x4 event. If you do plan to attend, please post a "Will Attend" log so that we can put you in the count and so that you will receive future announcements. Take care, RocketMan
  10. For those that have not already posted their will attend logs to the Colorado 4x4 event page (if you did, you should have received this announcement): Team Red Rubicon made an announcement about Mountain Mardi Gras and 4x4 Caching Adventure (Event Cache) on 7/19/2010 Log Date: 7/19/2010 The big summer 4x4 event is shaping up nicely. We already have 73 people attending with 11 vehicles going on the Difficult trail and 21 vehicles going on the Moderate trail. Here is some updated information that you will want to be aware of: Trails - Trail conditions are looking great. The Wheeler Lake trail has been open all the way to the top for weeks now and Mosquito Pass has just opened up all the way over the pass this week. The pre-run crew will be out on both trails this weekend and you might even see a few new caches show up. Final meeting locations and times should be posted next week. Shirts - Joe Friday has designed a really cool shirt for this event and will be selling them at cost again. Make sure you check out the event page for images and pre-ordering information. Coins - There will be a special event coin that will be available at the event. See the event page for more details. Raffle - The raffle items are coming together. Check back on the event page later this week to see the list of cool stuff. Meal - There will be free food as usual. The menu is not final yet. Check back on the event page next week for menu details. Porta Potties - There will be porta potties at the event location again this year. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone at the event in a few weeks.
