Since the geocache is in your neighborhood, it sounds like it would be very easy to pick up the Geo litter after the geocache is archived. I would follow standard procedure and post the log.

You cannot disable the cache, but you can turn it off from public view. There have been other discussions in the forums about this scenario. Some may temporarily put the answer in the description, or change it to an obvious multiple choice answer..

When I guess incorrectly, a screen shows my avatar and a dotted line, leading to a location. I see no connection between the location I am guessing and this new location. What am I missing?

I got the souvenir. I did not enjoy this as much as I thought I would, as it felt tedious. I was so excited to get a code, only to realize it's for a 30 day free PM trial when you sign up for an annual subscription thru the app.

Not a fan of these suggestions at all!

The puzzle piece indicates the geocache has solved coordinates. I even use this feature for my own puzzle and multi geocaches so they show on the map at the final location. I find it so odd that the official checker does not show up on the app! The other ones do.

Not that I know of, but I wondered the same thing.

That has been suggested before. Something to just consider if it's a tricky hide you could just copy and paste your log and put it in the personal note which is very easily accessible on the app, plus you can add more spoiler information you wouldn't want in your log.

From the geocaching Help Center: Don’t rely only on the Geocache Planning Map to choose a location. Multi-Caches, Mysteries, Wherigos, and Letterbox Hybrids can have hidden physical waypoints.
