I agree with Droo and I don't even have to hear both sides of the story. It's a flippin' coin! To threaten defamation of character and lawsuits over something like this is just ignorant.

Opinions are one thing...but to insinuate that this idea was lifted from another coin is just insulting, and that's the impression I got from some of the previous posts. Looking at the two of them side by side I don't see how you could mistake one for the other. It's the composition of the coin which makes it unique..not the subject matter. I like this coin and I'll be buying it.

I thought the idea of the race was to see the tags travel and how many miles each would move. Would you usually do that with a tag...move it back and forth by yourself? Not really much point in that, is there?

I don't think buying them on ebay is a bad thing either. Most of the people buying, I believe, are like Theotokis...wanting to acquire some of the great older coins. I really don't think most people are out to make a fortune buying up geocoins and reselling them. There are far better ways to make money and frankly, I rarely meet anyone other than cachers who even know what a geocoin is. I think that someone who would pay those prices for a coin must really want it. And let's face it, people new to caching don't have the coins to trade for some of the older ones.

I think the price for this coin is reasonable.
