  1. Yes, they are both still available. Do want to purchase either one?
  2. How about making me a decent offer on either of these units? Both work with no problems.
  3. I'm offering a GPSmaps 60CSx for sale. The unit comes with the usb cable, hand strap, belt clip, instruction book, windshield mount, bicycle handlebar mount. It will be in it's origanal box. I just recieved a colorado 400t and although this has been a wonderful unit. I no longer need it. It is in good working order, never had a problem with it. There is one very small scratch on the screen. I have found over 200 caches with this unit. i'm asking $250.00 plus shipping. I also have a Magellan expolorist 100 for sale. Works just fine. This is a wonderful beginners unit, or childs unit. Asking $50.00
  4. I have the same problem. Can't get the hot sync to work. I have been able to download the cachemate info onto a card. How do I get the Palm 500 to take the info off of the card? I have tried all the options available and although it recognizes that there is a card with info on it, I have not been able to see the info.
  5. My first travel bug did well for a few months. Then it was logged at a cache event and has been there for 2 months. Having looked at the event site, there is a bug that has been there for over 9 months. Is this normal for cache events that they just hang on to the bug. I've been to events and when a bug is passed out it is logged and usually moved along in a reasonable time. I e-mailed the event organizer and he claims he only has one bug that is not his. His event site list 6 bugs. Shouldn't the person who took it from the event log that they have the bug? I read that 2 or 3 weeks was acceptable to hold a bug.
  6. OK, I sent off and purchased a Palm M500. I downloaded Plucker, and have read through the manual and I guess I'm not techie enough to get it. I don't understand half of what the manual says, too technical for me. Uses language and phrases that I don't understand. I can not do anything with the program. Every thing says download another program to read, then another program to do load. Still no luck. I've downloaded 2 other programs it indicated I needed to make it work. I also downloaded cachemate and once again, nothing on the palm. I have the bookmark in GSAK. Is there a trick to getting these programs to work? They are both on my Palm, but I have not been able to open the file to look at the waypoints, the info on the book mark, or for that matter, anything else.
  7. If you download the pocket queries, you will find that the longitude and the latitude do not match the co ordinates of the geocache. I don't have a Garmin yet. Just trying to find an easier way to get caches and not have to write them all out by hand. I download in a zip file LOC. I thought I could download the waypoints and that would give me the co ordinates of the cache. The L&L is not the same numbers as the cache co ordinates. I have tried to input the numbers on the print out and they do not work. Again, at this time I have a Magellan Explorer 100 and do not have the ability to load into my gps. I have to write all the info off the cache page. The coordinates are the same - they're just in a different format . Is there anyway to get the print out in the format that I can use? Very frustrating having to write out all the info to geocache.

  10. I have down loaded the way points and the print out Longitude and Latitude co ordinates are nothing that matches the way points. I can't hand load them into my Magellan explorer. I was wondering when I get my new Garmin 60 csx if I down load will I get a way point that the gps can interpret? I printed out hoping to be able to use the paper print out to help me geo cache without having to write each cache out seperatly like I am currently doing. Is there a way to get way points from the queries that are compatable. Will be another month before I get my new gps. Any help will be appreciated.
