  1. The dragon tile just makes that first one for me! I hope some of these manage to make it out to the midwest! (That or I have to make plans to visit family in Rainier ) Wonderful designs, I hope they work out for you!

  3. Thank you, but manual only has 16 pages. I guess I could look at an online manual. Ah. Yep, that's the manual I used. I purchased mine used, and it didn't come with a manual. So I downloaded the PDF from the Magellan site.
  4. Yes, you can. I bought one of these as a "starter" gps. If I end up staying with geocaching for a while, I'll probably upgrade next year. The directions you want are on page 26 of the manual " Making POIs for Locations Other Than Your Present Position".
  5. Hi there! I'm a SAHM of a 6 month old and just discovered geocaching recently! I'm actually impatiently waiting for the gps that I ordered to show up, and solving some puzzles for coordinates while I wait... I'm amazed at how many cache's there are in the Twin Cities area. There are 3 just in a little park/wetlands area that's a couple blocks from us. (My first stops once my gps shows...) I don't suspect I'll be taking the little guy out with me much this year, it's getting so cold here already. But it's a great excuse to tell DH he has the baby for the day, I'm going hunting! I'm really looking forward to next year, I'm hoping that it will be a great hobby to do as a family, to get outdoors and get some exercise! Maybe I can even talk my very city boy hubby into camping (I'm not holding my breath on that though!)
