another great beautiful spot for some caching and foliage trip is at stokes state forest. Go to sunrise mountain, hit a few benchmarks, eat lunch, relax with the foliage.... then go on a hike to find some caches there.

I am planning to place a multi cache/puzzle tomorrow. How far or close does the stages have to be? For an example, if i say you must go to a plaque to see the date or message on it, then the next stage should be how far away? Can it be driving distance; town and to the neighboring town? thanks

Is there any hints or clues that may help me solve the puzzle for the cache, Bag End Cache People been saying they have been searching google but i tried and no luck as of yet. I been looking at this for a few days now. thanks

I have a etrex legend with the wire that goes to the computer. I believe it is the com port. However I just bought a laptop, unfortunately it doesnt have the connection needed for that. Is there anyway i can get a data transfer wire for the gps using the usb port? Thanks in advance for your help!

Would this be a considerably a good mission? Name my tb something....send it out say it should be back to me by a certain date with traveling the maximum miles it can with in that time period? I figured if I ''ship it out'' saturday, say I would like to recieve it back for January something....would that workout? Thanks for the advice !

Well the type I plan on to hold, will be an overnighter with tent sites, cabins/leantos available. (for rental through the facility.) As you said there should be a way of the particapants to attend without paying a admission fee. Would it be reasonable to do so to cover certain fees, suchas food, facility fees, and some of the stuff that may need to by. Reasonable price of 15 for an adult, 10 for child (14 and under).....etc. Of course headcounts is the major planning as well as the advertising.

i know i would list it as a regular cache but click event. I meant like the 3 month listing criteria. I found some info on google when i was searching. And yes it will be a geocaching get to gether...but hosted by the orgization manages/owns the land.

Hello fellow geocachers, I know that this may be on the forums already but i didnt search since i am using an dinosaur computer. Well anyways, my question is that I am part of a orgization and they(well we) would like to host a geocaching event weekend here on our premises. There was one here about a year ago and we would like to do it again but host it ourselves. Can you give me some pointers on how to set up one. I know it is pretty basic and planning an event but there is always a catch. Some examples...how much time in advance should it be done i know we need to set up geocaches or other various event for the day/weekend... Thanks in advance.
