Ok. Ich verstehe, dass euch und auch den anderen Codern und Scriptern die vielen Änderungen in hoher Kadenz im Quellcode der GC-Page schwer zu schaffen machen. Ihr macht einen tollen Job, völlig kostenlos. Deswegen bitte nicht als undankbare Kritik auffassen, wenn ich rein interessehalber frage, ob dafür noch nach einer "eleganteren Lösung" gesucht wird. Ich persönlich würde irre werden, wenn ich bei den pausenlosen Änderungen am Quellcode immer noch Scripte am funktionieren halten müsste, deswegen würde ich es verstehen, wenn ihr das als quasi fixed erst mal aus dem Fokus genommen habt.

Seit einigen Versionen besteht das Phänomen, dass die Seite zwar automatisch wieder auf die definierte Standardsprache (bei mir Deutsch) zurückgestellt wird, aber der Header danach dennoch in Englisch angezeigt wird. Ich konnte sogar einige Male beobachten, wie es für Sekundenbruchteile in Deutsch gezeigt wurde, bevor es plötzlich wieder Englisch war. Ein Reload war in diesen Fällen nicht erkennbar. Also passiert der Contentaustausch auf JS-Ebene scriptseitig. Ich nehme an, ihr habt eure Gründe dafür. Trotzdem: Kann man das abschalten? Ich finde keinen entsprechenden Punkt in der Config.

Ich hätte da eine Lösung im Gepäck. Früher hat es mich auch nicht gestört. Im alten Layout gab es ja wenigstens noch die Sprachauswahl, ganz oben im Seitenkopf. Nachdem die nun, im neuen Layout, ganz nach unten verbannt wurde, hat es mich genug genervt, um dafür ein Greasemonkey Script zu schreiben. Inzwischen sind es sogar drei verschiedene. Automatische Sprachumstellung, bei Seitenaufruf. Eine neue Sprachauswahl fürs Hauptmenü, ähnlich wie die ehemalige. Ein Flaggenbutton, im Hauptmenü, für eine bestimmte Sprache deiner Wahl. Wer sich dafür interessiert, findet alle drei Scripte auf meiner Website. Unnötig zu erwähnen, aber dennoch: Alles kostenlos und werbefrei. Das Script, genauso wie die Website. Ich teile lediglich meine persönliche Problemlösung mit der Geocaching-Gemeinschaft.

That's an even bigger modification, I would like to have, too. It alread works in the larger little map, at the bottom of the listing. So this can't be that hard to make it work in the big map, too, and could be a second step, if the highlighting of, in any way, marked caches can be made.

That's not even near to what I'm asking for. I don't want to search for solved UCs. I want to be able to see, by looking at the map, if a UC is already solved or not, for I don't nead to open it, to make sure. These are two completely different situations.

I have a truck load of solved unknowen caches, which I will visit, when the time and place has come. Whenever I've got the time, I'm cleaning up my home zone and the extended area, by solving the riddles, lying around here. It would be nice to see, if a UC is already solved, by simply watching the map. This would be possible, if the map icons were marked with, for example, a pencil, if a personal cache note was written or the coords were altered. If this is too hard to implement, there could be a "solved-button" in each listing, which can be activated/deactivated manually. That would be a simple, account based database add-on. I have this problem, too. And it totaly sucks! Not with every visit (auto login) but in random intervals. Sometimes even while a session and sometimes a couple of days later. Can you tell me which cookie is responsible for the manually selected language, for I can fix that by myself? Thank you
