I'm not famailiar with what they are called, but S&T's only accepts decimal coords I think. Screen shot of the S&T's lat/lon search; This one is from right here on GC.com's conversion feature. I use the coords highlighted in the yellow box. The online part is what I'm trying to get away from. I use the conversion here at GC now and it works just fine. Just lookin for one I can use anytime. I don't always have online access when I need to do a conversion. Oh my... Ya gotta speak english to me man... LOL I think the FizzyCalc is gonna work for me. I've found where to change the different coords on my GPSr, but I need to copy/paste 'em to the "find" box in S&T's.

Is there a coordinates conversion I can download or buy somewhere? I use the one on each GC page but I have to be online to do it. I'm looking for one I can save to my laptop so I can use it anytime. I use MS S&T's and it uses a different style coords than what is displayed on GC pages.

Ok, I've got the activation codes for the 2 POW/MIA coins. Haven't found the pumpkin one on their website yet. Still lookin! I'll post some pics in a few. Thanks again!

I have 2 POW/MIA coins and a Pumpkin one that says "Caching the pumkin patch" on it. Two of them were made by Coins and Pins. They still have the little card that came with them. I'm guessing the 3rd was also made by them because it is a duplicate of the POW/MIA coin. I'll go to their site and see what I can do. Thanks alot!

I'm just wondering if there's a way to activate goecoins with no activation code. I bought a couple coins off ebay a year or so ago, (after I'd found one in a cache and thought it was rather interesting), but have since lost or never recieved the activation code.

I recenty was lookin at another cachers public profile and they had a US map that showed the states they had found caches in. The states were highlighted in red. I can't seem to find where/how to have one of these maps added to my profile. Anybody wanna help out a fellow cacher that can't find a US map...? LOL

I've heard about those cops. Delt with alot of 'em but never ran across those of the first flavor. Are you sure they exist? I think that's just a rumor... No snow here right now....LOl

The first website forum I joined was a 4 wheeler site. I'd just bought my first quad, ( 1995 Yamaha Warrior). Just got tired of trying to remember different names for different sites so I just used the original. Pretty much explains it.

I'd report it to the cache owner, but other than that why bother? The "war on drugs" is a joke. Illegal drugs are illegal because the government hasn't figured out how to make money off of them yet. If they want to stop illegal drugs they should take all the confiscated drugs and lace 'em with syanide, (Spelling?), or some other deadly drug and send it back out on the street. Example; The next pot or meth party you're at and get to watch 5 or 6 of your friends die, you'll think twice about the next party. Sooner or later there won't be a market and drug sales will cease. Maybe it's not a nice way to deal with it but it's the only effective way to deal with it. Humans are relatively stupid creatures. They only understand one language, and that language is pain. He who carries the biggest stick makes the rules. That's the way it's always been and the way it will always be.

Thanks Miragee and Chuy!. At least that gives me a little hope. Only $150. Obviously you make more than I do. Just to add some more info, I bought the unit used off the board here. The warranty was almost expired when I bought it. The guy I bought it from said to send it to garmin and use his name so they would honor the warranty. I just never got "around to it", and now it's out of warranty. Nope, I haven't been on the Garmin website in along time. I figured if they charge a flat rate of 150 bucks I just as well buy another unit. I don't know alot about electronics, but I know enough to figure this thing can be fixed for a few bucks worth of parts at the most. I'll go check out their site again and maybe give 'em a call to see what they say. (I hate phones... )

I bought a Garmin 60 csx last year and it needs repaired. (Warranty is out of date) The screen will light up once in a while but very seldom. Has anyone had one repaired? Lookin for a good place and a reasonable price. I've heard Garmin charges quite a bit just to diagnos a problem.

So the cause of the accident was??? Other than being distracted....one word, tailgaiting! Nothin personnel gazz, but tailgaiting is a peeve of mine. Other than lack of driving skill, it's the biggest cause of most accidents that are blamed on other things like distractions, speed, visability, etc. I realize in the city it'd be next to impossible to not tailgait because there's always some moron reday to squeeze in though. Hands free cell phones are another peeve of mine. They really prove nothing because it only takes one hand to drive but it also takes one brain. It really doesn't matter if a person is holding a cell phone or not. The conversation is what distracts the brain. I think of all these "ban" laws just like seatbelt laws. They're not for safety, they are solely for revenue collection.
