  1. I created a new regular (i.e. not route or bookmark) PQ some days ago and scheduled it to run this morning. It did not run as expected, even though old once-a-week PQs ran about 1 am PDT. Thinking there might have been some problem with it, I made a copy and scheduled it to run. It's been a while and it still hasn't run. Preview works and returns 226 caches. Is anybody else having trouble with new regular PQs? Is anybody NOT having trouble with them?
  2. All the ones that "disappear" when attempting to download have a colon ( in the name. I made a copy of one that disappeared, took out the colon and was able to download. (Now almost all of mine have colons, but some don't and they all download) All these PQs are under 500 items. How about the rest of you? If you have disappearing downloads, do you also have "special" characters in the PQ name?
  3. I can reproduce that with Firefox and no greasy monkeys.
  4. Use coman's suggestion to get a PQ with premium members only caches. Update GSAK with that, flagging those that you are loading and then update some field in GSAK (user data?) to indicate it is premium member only. GSAK doesn't have a field for this because G.S. doesn't include the information in the PQ. (And there was a thread on this within the last few weeks at http://gsak.net/board/index.php?act=idx )
  5. notifications work just fine here, been receiving them all day I am sure the "broken" that Potato refers to is that even though we have requested notification for "Retract Listing", it is not sent.
  6. I have a second account I use for running (and e-mailing) repetitive PQs. I signed on it today to test downloading (even though I don't "need" to since they are all under 500.) Every attempt to download something in the list results in: Sorry, the requested Pocket Query download is no longer available. and the download entry disappears. (User name available to lackeys if needed.)
  7. I requested MyFinds a few hours ago. The download was available and the e-mail notification received fairly quickly.
  8. Well, that's interesting. Same here. Works in IE 8.0.6001.18928 Fails with Firefox 3.6.3
  9. http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.a...e8-1522defae627 This is the link to my DNF bookmark list. It has always worked in the past. When I access it now I get a heading of Bootron List (shared) List Owner: isaac&grace The list details are right but since I am not isaac&grace, I can't edit it.
  10. 1 mile. It's a difficulty 4 nano on a military vehicle. I may look for it some time but that isn't my favorite type of hide.
  11. There is a nearby cacher who has (traditional) caches with intentionally bad coordinates to make them more challenging. I ignore them.
  12. I am betting that once the problem has been fixed the downloads we can see will work. Unless they expire before this is fixed.
  13. Same thing here. Can anyone download PQ results now? I guess I can trim my PQ to return 500 caches so I can get some results. (Will those who told us how wonderful this was so we didn't lose our e-mailed results hang their heads at least?)
  14. Or use Its Not About The Number, or ... Find a profile that has a map you like and look at the bottom...there is almost certainly the information about what generated it.
  15. I hadn't tried using the watch list from GSAK, and it looks like you have to first have to use it to put a cache on the watchlist before you can remove it (per the help info). I did realize that I can simplify this some, by using multiple tabs in Firefox. Just keep my current watchlist page open, then right click on the Remove link and open it in a new tab. That way I can go back to the watchlist tab and keep going down the list. It would be nice to have check boxes though. Both the bookmark and query pages have them, so you can delete several at once. I agree it would be nice to have check boxes. Now to deal with the way things are and not how they should be: You can do a "mass replace" to set a group of (filtered) caches to "being watched" in GSAK (to get GSAK matching what G.S. has.) If you have a lot, you could create a PQ for all the watched caches and use that to flag the GSAK records which are being watched and then do the mass replace.
  16. Any log that is publicly viewable should also be selectable for notifications. Arguments against this seem to be based on the thought that "Groundspeak must be right. How do I rationalize it?"
  17. It did preserve the spaces. It is a PQ based on a bookmark list which may explain why it didn't collapse spaces like my other PQ edits do.
  18. Yes, your hypothesis is correct. I took a PQ that I ran yesterday ("H - Greenville") and verified that the output was available for download. I changed the name of the PQ to "H - Greenville x". I went to my downloads and saw the output was still in the list with the changed name. I tried to download it but got this message "Sorry, the requested Pocket Query download is no longer available." and then it disappeared from the list of possible downloads. My suggestion is not to change the name or delete any PQ that you want to be able to download the output...at least until GS is done alpha testing this new feature.
  19. While I continue to use INATN, be prepared to discover that the website has a lot of 500:Internal Server Error as it does at this very moment.
  20. That would be helpful. The only good thing is there is a URL for "remove" so if you are using GSAK (for instance) you can do removes fairly easily.
  21. The problem was that PQ files downloaded had spaces. I don't think they needed to change the PQ name to fix that. (But if I'm wrong, it would be good to hear that so we won't keep waiting for a fix.)
  22. I think the standard method is to come here and see if anyone else is complaining and, if not, start a thread and ask if anyone is having problems (just like you did.) I'm not having any trouble with e-mail (Gmail). I sent you a message through Groundspeak to see if you get it.
  23. Could Groundspeak indicate they know of this error and will fix it? (I think I noticed a new PQ will get through with blanks but editing it will remove all blanks from the name.)
  24. I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 and do not have this problem.
  25. I started doing that when I started geocaching. (Using the watchlist which will hold more than a bookmark list.) As time went on I've had to reduce what I read because of an increasing volume.
