  1. Westboro Insane Hospital Crematorium (GCZ055)
  2. What does being FTF have to do with it? What's to stop a mad bomber from waiting until there is a FTF, and then rigging up the cache with an explosive? And why stop at geocaches when a mad bomber could just put a bomb in your mailbox or under your car?
  3. That would be excellent! Can you run shrinky-dink sheets through a PC's printer?
  4. A geocoin that looks exactly like US Currency - maybe one of the new presidential golden dollars - with the tracking number on the edge. Geocoin collectors and the US Treasury/Secret Service will be very interested in this coin.
  5. That sure is a possibility.... I don't think she would check herself into rehab unless there was an opportunity to make a reality TV show out of the whole sordid affair. Hmm, maybe she finished making the "Paris Hilton's New BFF" TV show and was looking for a next project?
  6. My LOOK AT ME!!! travel bug has gone missing, and I'm going to release a copy to replace it. I can't seem to find any pictures of Paris Hilton on the intarwebs to use in constructing a duplicate travel bug. If you know of any suitable pictures, please post them in this thread. I'm also thinking of changing the TB's name slightly to note the change in TB objects. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of "KEEP LOOKING AT ME!!!" or maybe "Paris Hilton's new BFFTB" Remember: geocaching is a family friendly activity
  7. Could you please select one photo for the contest? I think the top one is better. It is more colorful.
  8. Can this be any holiday (Easter, Festivus, Columbus Day), or are we talking about Christmas? (sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine) Yes, any holiday -- Flag Day, Groundhog's Day, Frozen Foods Awareness Month (March is Frozen Foods month). I'll bet that a geocacher voting for the photo is more likely to vote for a Christmas photo than for a Frozen Foods Awareness Month photo. So, keep that in mind.
  9. When I typed in the TB code, it comes up inactive? Should I alert Signal? Maybe the winner of the contest should do that?
  10. BUMPIN' THE NASTY Can't let this thread go a whole year without a reply!
  11. PSSST. I'm giving a 2007 Lackey geocoin away in this cointest
  12. I have two daughters -- a teen and a 12yo -- who get hip, knee, and shin pain due to IT problems. The orthopedist prescribed shoe inserts (narrow feet, with high, weak arches) and IT stretching. You can look up the stretch. You stand next to a wall leaning, cross one leg over the other, put both feet flat on the floor with the outside edges of the feet touching. They also have a heavy plastic device, you put your foot on it. It has a rounded rocker underneath which allows you to roll your foot forward and back smoothly, stretching you calf. They never do their stetches and often compain of leg pain.

  14. Congratulations to PDX Spotters. For the purposes of this contest, I'm going to call the election results as Obama 53%, McCain 46%, with Obama winning 28 states + DC. PDX edges out gamecockfan1 by virtue of having a higher states guess. I sent the prize pack out to PDX in today's mail. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
  15. I'm still waiting for all the numbers, but right now it looks like a toss-up between gamecockfan and pdx spotters, with a slight advantage to pdx spotters. Hopefully, I can anounce the winner of this contest by the weekend. Thanks for your patience.
  16. Triple B-Flat Reprise (GCXBBK) - 3/4 mile offshore on Cape Cod. No swag. A soggy piece of tyvek for a logbook. Only 45 finders in 13 months, before it went missing. How many cachers can claim they hid a cache nearly a mile offshore that you can walk to? One of the finders has placed the Cape Cod Tidal Flats earthcache in the original cache's location.
