  1. Congrats Kim!! Well done. How'd she sneak past you BoGA???
  2. I see the progression (or is that digression) of your ways. Although, I'd list those logically as JPD, BoGA, OF and then Photom. I know OF has had the most amount of years of influencing you so that's how she rates the second worst. You're funny!!
  3. Yep, I'm a trouble maker for sure! (And proud of it!) Learned everything I know from OF, BOGA, JPD and Photom!
  4. Uh, if BOGA practiced what he preached, he'd have a LOT more finds, so don't worry about him! I think our record is 4 days of caching in a row, but that's very rare.
  5. What are you talkin' about??? That one was easy and quick.....but it helped that we'd just recently seen something similar so the technique was fresh in our minds! Congrats on fiding it!
  6. Wolf Grrl, I sure hope you are successful in finding a new home for the puppy. Believe me, we're dog savers/finders/rescuers, so we understand. We even had to take two wanderers back to their house when we were caching the other day! We already have two found/rescued grrls so we can't take him, but wish you much luck and thank you for saving him!!
  7. That is good if you wish to do that and it is your choice, but how would you feel if someone made a waymark using some of the details from your virtual? To everyone: Also, are virtuals really obsolete and unwanted?
  8. Our cache already has photos requested but not totally required. Answers to questions about the site and from the plaque are required. However, we are often a bit relaxed so this can remain a fun vacation cache. Now, however, many answers can be found by looking at the waymark photo. I guess this whole thing is more aggravating because we would never have considered making a waymark on a spot already in use by another cacher. We'd probably think "wow, what a nice spot, we'll have to watch it in case the existing cache is ever archived". Additionally, the spot feels like ours after four years, and we have had a lot of wonderful comments about the site, and have sent a thank you basket to the cache site operators for all their friendly help. I know, maybe too emotional, but how we feel anyway. And as for asking the waymark owners to change their photo or waymark, they seem to think we are in the wrong for objecting to their placement, so don't think that will work.
  9. We have had a virtual cache at a nice location since 2003. Recently someone placed a waymark at the very same location including a photo of the plaque we use for our virtual questions. Therefore, a couch cacher can look at their plaque and answer our virtual. What do you think of this? While it may be "legal" it sure seems to be inconsiderate and has us upset. What would you do if it was your virtual??
  10. Russia?? Oh, yeah, sure! Does he offer any proof? Any "finds" listed or photos? I can't believe someone who has a PANIC ATTACK just coming to Merced could make it all the way to Russia!! What say you members of the jury??
  11. Bill, I'm just bugging you........don't get so sad. However, we did invent a term tonight at our MAC meeting for caches that get muggled........we now say it was BOGAed!!
  12. That's not the first cache you've had a hand in it's getting archived, is it BOGA??!?!?!?!
  13. Coondawgs, It seems to me we had to make our reservations farther in advance when we went, but that was a number of years ago. The food was fabulous; I just read my journal from the trip and it made me drool! We even took photos of the lovely presentation. I hope you enjoy it if you go.
  14. http://mauiculinary.com/academy/class_act.cfm Don't know if you can get reservations at this late date, but this is a wonderful Maui adventure. We did it years ago before this new building; would love to go again!
  15. Yes, and she's got your little CVC Tag! Watch out, people!
  16. But there is also GOOD NEWS on the muggle front! My "Famous Misquotes" was stolen some days back. But today, lo and behold, I got an "e-confession" from a fellow cacher. So, I will get my great container back sometime soon. Hip, hip horray! Don't you just hate it when fellow cachers (people you think you should be able to trust!) get sticky fingered with your stuff???!!!?!?!?!
  17. http://www.modbee.com/local/story/13820385p-14396463c.html Have you done this cache in Waterford??? There are also some other newish ones in the area. Don't know how to make this a nicer, cleaner link, sorry!
  18. DUH! Isn't Taglioni an Italian name????????
  19. Have fun guys! Also be safe and try to get back in time for pizza!
  20. Welcome back, ZachNLiam!!! Nice to see you returning to caching. Maybe you can come to the July "Extra Cheese, Please!" event in Merced and meet some of our locals! We'd enjoy seeing you.
  21. Bill, I hope you now see who's the biggest trouble maker in MACland!
