Hi, Once again I'm trying to complete my Tranquility set ! I need only ONE more coin to complete the 38 coin set So I'm seeking the Antique BRONZE finish (not the Antique GOLD !). It is also referred as Antique BRONZE - MINT ERROR. This finish wasn't supposed to be minted. They wanted a small remint of the Antique GOLD version but they received the wrong finish. There is not many Antique BRONZE geocoin minted and some of them were even sold as the ANTIQUE GOLD finish (just to help with confusion ). Here's a picture to show the slight difference between both versions. So, if you think you have the Antique GOLD version PLEASE look at your coin carefully. It could be the ANTIQUE BRONZE version. Hi DJ, I'm not sure that you know but there is 2 versions of the Gold 24k Tengwar (satin and shiny) and 2 versions on the silver one too (satin and shiny). That makes 4 coins to dream of... I hope you'll have "shiny" dreams in your "satin" sheets. As for me, my ULTIMATE HEART DESIRE is the last Tranquility I need to complete the 38-coin set. I'm INTENSIVELY desiring the Antique Bronze - MINT ERROR finish... There was only 15 made (or less). Will I ever get my hand on one of these coins ?

Sorry for not replying. I actually am financing a "new project", but unfortunately not a geocoin-related one . I am trying to save up money to purchase a new camera... which I will partly use to photograph geocoins . However, in the geocoin realm, I am indeed SLOWLY working on a design (school really gets in the way of geocoins) which will be sold on presale like the Braheans when it is complete. Wow ! These are selling at really high price : total of 400$ for the first 5 coins. Did you get your camera yet ? If so, which one did you get ? Any chance of having these versions up for regular sale after you bought your camera ?

Hi, I'd like to know what was the first coin in your collection. Did you receive it as a gift or you bought your first coin ? Do you still own this coin ? As for me, when I officially started collecting geocoin the first one I bought (around dec. 2006) was a : Magic Ball Geocoin - Blue And no I unfortunately don't have this coin anymore. I traded it (along with a Indian Paintbrush) for a DragonFly 2007 LE. So, what was the coin that started your collection ? Have a good day !

Hi, Imagine you're in a situation where you have to keep only two coins (one trackable and one non-trackable) from your collection and get rid of all the other ones (forever !). Which coins would you keep ? It has to be coins from your collection. Please don't mentionned more than two coins. (I now it's hard to select only 2 coins from your entire collection and ignore all the other ones but please follow the rule.) So, here's my choice for the trackable coin : Vitruvian Coin Ant. Hi, I don't activate my coins and I don't collect online icons. According to me, coins are losing some of their value once they are activated. I also don't trade of buy activated coins. I would probably make an exception though if someone was trading/selling the last Tranquility I need to complete my set. I wouldn't mind if it was activated !!!

Same happened to me. I had a discussion going on about a trade then no more answers to my mail. Vacation, too busy, don't want to trade anymore, ... who knows ! 85% - That's a lot of people not responding to you offers !!! and I do also add "let me know if you want to trade OR NOT" but that don't always work. Thanks youy all for REPLYING to this tread.

I do sometimes write a quick note letting people know I'm interested in a trade but don't have much time to check their lists right now. I then get back a few days later hoping they still have the coin I want... But I do understand that some people are really busy with life, kids and all that they don't have time to answer not even a quick note. You don't have to feel sorry ! And I'm not seeking any apologies here !

I usually send my offer 3 times (one week interval) when I'm not recieving any response. That way, I'm avoiding lots of e-mail and spam folder problems. If I haven't recieved any response by the third time, I just forget the trade possibility.

Hi, I've been doing trades for the last few years but there is something that tickles me. I've sent many trade request in the past years but lately I haven't received a lot of response. I don't mean positive response I mean any response at all. On my side, whenever someone ask me for a trade I always answer back letting them know if I do want or don't want to accept their offer. I can't accept all trade offers because I'm not seeking all the coins... But, when I don't want to trade I usually gives them a reason (don't seek this coin, etc.) to why I refused the offer. I think it's better to officially say NO to an offer instead of not responding at all. So, the questions are : Do you sometimes refuse a trade offer ? How do you refuse a trade offer ? You send them a response or not ? Do you feel hurt when someone is refusing your offer ? Thanks, Simon P.S.
