Is there any one keen to go up to Cathedral Peak over the weekend of the 12 April 2008 - Please post a note to that effect or PM.

OK so what do we do - 12 April 2008 looks good for a few now we have local issues - if we can have a quick sho of hands if people are still keen and we have 5 cachers (teams) present then we will make it an event. So please let us know if your still keen to give it a go - or rain check till September...

I have a T4A but i does not have many trails in the Cathedral range (the part I think Wazat is after - if I am not wrong) - I see there are tracks in Monks Cowl and Sentinel areas(even these are not complete other than that we are on our own to the best of my knowledge - I have sent my track of the route to the top of cathedral peak and rainbow gourge so hopefully that will be issed some time.... i fear it is up to to us cachers to lay the tracks and submit the info.... unless someone knows something?????

Well now that the new year is on us and slowly gathering speed - one needs to look forward and plan some of those far out caches that require a weekend away.... What we are thinking is this... What about a weekend with an event cache at the Cathedral Peak Campsite on the Sunday for Brunch. That way if you are up for one of the biggies in the area like Mitre and Twins Cave you can sleep out in Twins cave Saturday night - but if you want to just go for the easyier ones in the area then you are also free to do that. It all really depends on who is up for what when. Post your thoughts if you are up for it and we can start the plans a rolling.

Not sure if you know this or not but we are rather partial to our Cacher dog, Willow the Cacher Dog (Travel Bug - TB1FADV), she does not need a GPS - the nose does the trick - she can smell plactic in a forest from 50m away! So we thought we should have a forum topic devoted to those silent helpers who come with you on you caching adventures, and a chance to post some pictures.
