I nominate Geek-Qualizer from Houston. There are several reasons that he is a good choice: 1) He helps new cachers (like myself) 2) He set up, funds, and administers the Houston Geocaching Association website 3) He hosts events 4) He attends every event he can make it to 5) He is always willing to lend a hand for geocaching events or if anyone he knows needs help 6) He just makes geocaching fun.

Yeah, a new cache came out last night around 6:30 pm Central time and it's been down pretty consistently since. So, I haven't been able to get the coords. If anyone was able to get the coords during a moment or two that the server was up (????) then they pretty much have an open shot at the FTF because of the server problem.

I have a couple of suggestions for google maps, some are repeats of earlier posts. 1.) The google map has got to suppress found caches. I need to know areas where I still have caches to hit without the confusion of what I've already found. 2.) Google maps should be available when previewing a pocket query. I use the pocket queries to download info to my palm and gps. However, I want a visual cue as to where the caches are and which ones can be grouped together. 3.) Once you've clicked on a cache listing on the google map (column right of map) and get the information above the map, there seems to be no way to turn it back off. Since it takes up important real estate, I'd like to be able to collapse it when finished. The main thing for me is 1. Not having the ability to remove found caches is a real hindrance. The google map is a big improvement over the old one, but it still needs a few enhancements to make it really usable. Stcymcc

Adoption tool DOES NOT TRASFER THE MEMBERSHIP. I don't mind relogging the finds, but I don't want to pay once more. I might just duplicate my account for a year, and then pay for the new ID one. But I think I'll just try writting support and asking them.

I have the same issue (yea, yea, I know I am not unique). And I am even willing to go and relog my finds, ultimately it wouldn't take THAT much time. However, I've never seen a mention of transferring the Premium Membership option. That is what I need! But how do I get it??
