On 6/6/22 Bethie_Biker and I both had occasion to find 1 cache: GC8M6QE Neither of us had logged on this cache in any way prior and we logged through CachLY, directly (not a Draft situation) with 4 bars of 4G on our iPhones with no apparent issues. On 6/7 I saw that BethieB got her 15 points but I had not, so I edited my log and submitted - my 15 points appeared. Then, later, I got the email from HQ to begin my adventure - I clicked through, and my 15 points DISAPPEARED. Editing the log DID NOT bring them, back - but I show a find of the cache on 6/6/22 through the Geocaching® website of this cache. So, my question is: What's going on?? I had posted in a FB page for Geocaching® and one other 'cacher replied with a similar issue (not a misunderstanding of "Found" items in the Promotion but a problem with simple point award) involving several caches. Ha-el-l-l-l-p! Ha-el-l-l-l-p! I'm drowning in The Swamp!!! [gurgle] 😎

One little, Two little, Lost little Coin Mis-sions ... (whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh ...!) Was that ...? Could that be ...? YES! THE RED BULL BUNNY !!!

Hmmm ... lessee ... "C" "A" "N" ... Nope. Definitely not Washington state ... now I'm going to open it ... OH SILLY ME! It's not from a Geocacher!!! I'm putting a photo in to show why I thought so: doesn't that look like it might be an exchange? Now the explanation - recently we got a new-to-us 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. But Beth had a "condition": it MUST be retrofitted with a classic "Willys 4Wheel Drive" vinyl decal set, somewhere on the vehicle. No decals, no Jeep. So I've been ordering mats and wiper blades and cargo mats - and Vinyl Decals. However, as 'rules and exceptions' do not require, but Do s t r o n g l y imply a single source of criteria and interpretation, as well as 'enforcement', I strongly disagree. We have Guidelines under the caveat by HQ that I call 'The Great Disclaimer': No action taken regarding one geocache has any bearing on any other geocache' and upheld through the perceptions of individual Reviewers backed by decisions of HQ WITHOUT INTERACTIVE APPEAL AVAILABLE TO THE GEOCACHER. That's the way it is and the situation under which, daily, I (and we all) make the decision TO GEOCACHE. Not a complaint, a statement of fact.
