thje map and compass skills are a definite plus to learn. contact any civilian orienteering club, and they will lead you down the right path... i know sounds corny. a decent compass can be had for 15$ the skills you learn will last a lifetime. check your local library or scouts for a club. the scouts may teach you too.. they can earn points for helping you out, you may also find a gps on ebay for 40-70$ maybe a magellan 315. i will have one on there soon -- no reserve. ---robbie A family that Geocaches together... eventually gets wet. required reading My first bible Great Orienteering Site!
