The reason I am bringing this topic back from the dead is that some of my postings are not whats written on the log sheets.You are only cheating yourself.But with some sort of # verification built into the web site, It would be true.I agree with skydiver in obtaining the # before the cache is placed.
  2. I was just wondering if this has ever been considered? It would be like how the travel bugs are. Whoever at Groundspeak that approves the cache's assigns the cache placer a number and that is placed in the cache.Who ever finds the cache has to verify the #. Food for thought TT

  6. Thats why its important to mark the outside of the container. You would not have incidents like this one.
  7. That is what the rating sysytem is for.Leave it for the dedicated.It might be wise to specify though in your hint that you may need to bring you spiked climbing shoes.

  12. I suppose anything that would shoot a projectile would be considered a weapon. I dont carry my 38 but i will if i am going somewhere remote. Its better to have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it
  13. The Garmin Etrex Is a basic unit that is priced at a decent range $99. If they want to download maps you are looking at at $169 and up.Its all what they want.
