Some very very unsettling stories here. Encounters with snakes! Wow. Trigger happy cops being called out. Such paranoia..... Guns actually being drawn on people?!!! Ridiculous and insane. So very very different from caching here in the UK. I think a small dog almost barked at me once while I was out caching.

F for me - I check the last few logs before leaving home to see if there are any DNFs and also maybe to get a flavour of how hard everyone else had to search for the cache. Would never have occurred to me that this might be cheating.

Yep. It really works. Just remember it is important the watch should be set to standard time. Otherwise, you will end up being 15 degrees out for each hour of daylight saving it may have been adjusted for.
