Hi there I own a boxer and have her on a product called Sentinel. Its given orally once a month and protects against fleas heart worm and i cant say for sure ticks, but we have never encountered any on her and she spends alot of time with me outdoors geocaching and camping. Call your vet and inquire. A years supply costs about $80 - $100 depending on the weight of your dog. Remember the name is SENTINEL. Hope it works for you.

Why do i geocache......hmmmmm good question? Im an outdoors person to begin with. Between myself and my best friend we own 3 dogs. We were always out hiking anyways to take them on walks. Thanks to the sport or game of geocaching it has led us to many new and exciting areas that we would have never discovered on our own. So to me the greatest part is discovering new places to spend our down time. Ok Ok ..... travel bugs are fun as well []. So far we have met 2 fellow cachers on our travels. We are also enjoying the online friendships and rivalries that seem to be devloping. Lets face it a little competition is fun. Logging a first to beat the veterans in your local area just seems to get the blood pumping( * points at BBoG and Decocoppler []* As far as the money goes......yes i seem to be spending a fortune on gas lately.....is that what you ment? Hope to meet you on the trails.......after I logged that first and meet you on the way out ...hehe

I'm glad you posted the co-ordinates. As I am new to the game since last November, I had visited at least 1 of the required caches recently and found no prison cards or clues in it. Therefore I havent actively seeked out the other caches in search for more clues because it would be frustrating not having all the clues to achieve the final cache. Thanks, now i can do the whole series without frustration. Oh ya I'm new but posted my 70th find yesterday.

You can count Allwalk and Tess in on this idea. We have discussed this idea between the 2 of us and think it would be great. We have even considered doing a weekend hunt this summer where after finding several caches with clues it would take the seekers to a final cache where we would be waiting with the BBQ stoked and the food ready. Just not to sure how it would be acceptted. Any thoughts on this cacche idea would be greatly welcomed before we tackle the project. Thanks in advance

I too am feeling blue over the sudden lost of the shuttle. It is ironic that you were hiding your current themed cache on this horrific day. As 2nd finder of the first black box I will also hunt this 1 down, but first or prayers and wishes go to the families,friends and coworkers of those lost in yesterdays tragedy.

Winter better not bring things to a grind. I have 2 caches that I plan putting out this weekend. Just waiting for the kids so they can help hide our first caches. They will be placed with the winter and snow in mind, so keep a watch for them. Both will have T.B.'s in them so the kids can track them. Hmmmmmm who will first???

I'm new to this game and have found 15 cache's so far. I thought it would be nice to add a travel bug. My accomplice Tess came up with this great idea. I am new to this hobby/sport/game and have found mush information here on the forums. I have noticed though that Ottawa has had several events as well as the Guelph area but have found nothing relating to the Toronto area. Is there such an event and I just missed it, or has an Event never been organized for the Metro area? If no event has been organized would there be any people out there interested in trying to organize something? By the way I am having a great time geocaching.......thank you all.

Greetings everyone: I am new to this hobby as of 3 days new and find myself the proud owner of a etrex Legend ( crosses fingers), I hope I picked a decent enough GPS for geocaching and camping .
