The WWFM. The World Wide Flash Mob. There are over 30 coordinated events at this time. All happening at the same time as ours. 5 countries so far: South Africa, The UK, Canada, Iraq, and the US. We will be photographing and video-taping it and the WORLD will look to the San Diego event to see how we do! If you had a great time at Balboa Park in May, gear up for this one and invite your friends!

Our last Flash Mob in May at Balboa Park was a blast with almost 200 people attending.
This one will be at Mission Beach near the Belmont Park Roller Coaster.
We are also synchronizing with dozens of Flash Mob events around the world, and thousands of geocachers!

We need some volunteers to help pull off the event. If you'd like to help, contact us through our profile or at podcacher@gmail.com
See you there!

The "Last Wave" is closing. The deadline to order / last day is this Sunday, Sept 23rd. After this date we will not take orders, or have anymore coins made:
Order yours here, before that date: http://www.podcacher.com/kayak/
The coin may be on the pricey side, but was designed to be a fund raiser for the the expenses to produce the weekly audio show. We've created over 120 shows, on a variety of geocaching topics. You can listen on a portable device, or right on your computer. If you enjoy, get any value from the content we provide, this is a great way to help support the efforts as well as get a collectible from longest running and worlds largest podcast about geocaching.
The website and show can be found at http://www.podcacher.com
Thanks!

Video from the San Diego Flash Mob Cache Event has been posted.
Over 180 cachers showed up at 9:00am at Balboa Park. The event was over in 15 minutes. We had an event meal, group photo, raffle prize drawings and then left without a trace.
See it here:

We hope to see you guys at this Flash Mob event. May 20th, Balboa Park, 9:00 - 9:15.
We could still use 2 more volunteers. A videographer (we've got the camcorder) and a public relations person (who will hand out fliers and tell muggle about geocaching).
Here's the link:
We have synchronized with 19 other Flash Mob Cache events around the world. We'll be compiling pictures and a roster from all the events and see what the total is!!
Come be part of it!!!
Oh, and we'll be givin' somthin' away ... 'cause we really want you to show up

It was a pleasure and honor to have met and interviewed to the Bolas Heathens!!! They were audio recording pros and warm friendly folk! We hope that our paths may cross with them again sometime!
-
We were honored to have been able to "get the scoop" on this topic and share the info first!
We think it's a GREAT endeavor and hope it make a difference with the awareness of diabetes. I've always thought that cachers are a great bunch of people. Sociable, CITOs, sharing locations (and of course swag) with others, and now helping out with a good cause. One of the reasons we love creating our weekly audio show all about geocaching!

Why was our link removed? It was VERY topic related. It was a link to our show, the one in which we interviewed Bryan from Groundspeak where he first introduced this project publicly for the first time, anywhere.

Please advise. Thanks.

There are a few other podcasts that deal with geocaching, but the one you have heard is the best.
Hey thanks! We aim to please!!! We honestly strive to produce a quality, family friendly show that is packed with content (or at least has some useful "take-away" nuggets) that make it worth listening to.
Thanks again for your support and encouragement!!!
We've created over 70 shows (not even counting the "bonus" mid-week shows), and going strong!!!
You can download to an MP3 player, burn them to a CD or listen right at the computer.

Burn it to a CD or load on an MP3 player. Best heard over headphones.
Enjoy!
