  1. WWFM: World Wide Flash Mob Event: November 10th, 9:00. The event will last precisely 15 minutes.

We'd like to host another Flash Mob event! For those of you that missed the Balboa Park, May event, it was a blast!

This event will be coordinated with WWFM all around the world!

    We'll need volunteers.

If you're interested, please write us at: podcacher@gmail.com with the letters WWFM in the subject line. Then let us know if you can help (small fun jobs!)

    THANKS!

  2. The "Last Wave" is closing. The deadline to order / last day is this Sunday, Sept 23rd. After this date we will not take orders, or have anymore coins made:

Order yours here, before that date: http://www.podcacher.com/kayak/

The coin may be on the pricey side, but was designed to be a fund raiser for the the expenses to produce the weekly audio show. We've created over 120 shows, on a variety of geocaching topics. You can listen on a portable device, or right on your computer. If you enjoy, get any value from the content we provide, this is a great way to help support the efforts as well as get a collectible from longest running and worlds largest podcast about geocaching.

The website and show can be found at http://www.podcacher.com

    Thanks!

  3. We hope to see you guys at this Flash Mob event. May 20th, Balboa Park, 9:00 - 9:15.

We could still use 2 more volunteers. A videographer (we've got the camcorder) and a public relations person (who will hand out fliers and tell muggle about geocaching).

Tell others! Let's get a crowd!

Hoping to get a decent turn-out for this 15 minute event! We also have a few more jobs that need to be filled. We are looking for volunteers to lend a hand.

Again here is a link to the event page: http://tinyurl.com/yv55zo

  5. We were honored to have been able to "get the scoop" on this topic and share the info first!

We think it's a GREAT endeavor and hope it make a difference with the awareness of diabetes. I've always thought that cachers are a great bunch of people. Sociable, CITOs, sharing locations (and of course swag) with others, and now helping out with a good cause. One of the reasons we love creating our weekly audio show all about geocaching!

Why was our link removed? It was VERY topic related. It was a link to our show, the one in which we interviewed Bryan from Groundspeak where he first introduced this project publicly for the first time, anywhere.

    Please advise. Thanks.

  7. There are a few other podcasts that deal with geocaching, but the one you have heard is the best.

Hey thanks! We aim to please!!! We honestly strive to produce a quality, family friendly show that is packed with content (or at least has some useful "take-away" nuggets) that make it worth listening to.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement!!!

We've created over 70 shows (not even counting the "bonus" mid-week shows), and going strong!!!

You can download to an MP3 player, burn them to a CD or listen right at the computer.
