I think this is a great idea. Thanks for your note to me Mopar. I have two water caches placed so far and ideas for more. I have to get Coast Guard approval for one and The US Navy has to approve the other but am hopful. One will require some deep sea equipment and the other a submarine. My choice is the Princeton Tec Aurora. I use this constantly for everything. I do a lot of camping by myself and this is the only light I need with me. A mini mag serves as backup. Extremely long life and dependable. Am now waiting on the new model "SCOUT" to arrive so I don't have to keep switching the light from my kayak gear to camping.
