  1. On the front page the pull down for the country search shows an asterisks next to Aruba indicating a new cache. When I click Go and Seek it returns the cache list but there are no new caches listed.
  2. Maybe this has been asked already, but can we have an option to hide (not return) inactive caches in that list.
  3. You could always try translating it through Babblefish.com
  4. Just wish I didn't have to re-log in each time I refreshed the page.
  5. There are quite a few around Boulder City.
  6. I've seen people refer to SL also as Saw Lots.
  7. To me part of the fun of geocaching is finding a travel bug. If I don't know the goal of the TB or I know that I can't help it to it's goal I might not take it with me. Now I would like to keep track that I did find a TB. To do that I would log it as picked up/droped off at the cache I fould it. I don't want to 'watch' the TB, I don't need any more excess emails.
  8. Is it acceptable to log a bug as picked up and then placed in the same cache? This way I could track the bug's I've found. I was just wondering if it was generally accepted or if it was frowned upon. Thanks
  9. Online payment? What about paying online thru your (my) bank account. Would you be able and willing to accept this type of payment? For my bank to process a payment it needs to know who to make the payment to and the address to send it to. Also how would you tie they payment to my account? Would I use my member name as the account number? Just another option for a lot of people nowadays.
  10. quote:Originally posted by nincehelser:Some newer units have a 5 mile range on certain channels (GMRS I think it's called), but require an easy-to-get, no-test license that covers your family...something like $75 or so. George The 5-mile range ones don't require any type of license, at least not the ones I bought. I have a pair of microTalk from Cobra. They have 15 channels with about 38 sub channels each. They cost me about $60.00 for the pair from Fry's.
  11. Automatic email notification I watch the cache I am about to enter, it then send me an email with the date stamp, a link to that cache and the comments I just entered.
  12. I've just taken up geocaching and I live in the SFV, Northridge area.
  13. My local Fry's (Los Angeles area) is advertising the Meridian GPS for $139.00. I think I will get my first GPS unit tonight.
