  1. Okay, thanks. I have deleted the codes I posted. I can't edit your reply though, so maybe you can do that and remove those in the quoted section?
  2. That's all? I guess I assumed there would be some other step with them flagged as lost. Thanks
  3. Hi, I need some help and guidance. First and foremost, I am a bug-napper. Not intentionally mind you, but after a hiatus of many years from participating in searching for caches my wife and I have started again. When I pulled out an old and untouched bag much to my dismay I found 2 travel bugs that I had picked up but apparently neglect to drop into another cache. No excuses, no bad intention...simply a time where most things took a backseat to life's priorities. So here is my question... Can I reactivate these bugs? One is still tied to a semi-active member, and the other has unfortunately shown no activity for many years. Here are the bugs I have; DELETED - I have messaged the owner of this bug, but have received no response DELETED - This one was released from England in celebration of a 40th wedding anniversary. I'm sorry to see there has been no additional activity with that user. I feel bad about both of these and would like to make it right. How do I do that?
  4. I have a Nuvi 660 and I can put in coordinates. It's an older model, and I can't speak to any others, but this one works.
  5. I have a brand new copy of Garmin Worldmap. Still sealed in the original box. It's a little bit older version, but should be usable. I don't knowhow to check the version without opening the package. Make me an offer! Sale or trade.
  6. Thanks for the reply and direction. I will take a look at that. Cheers!
  7. Ok, I have a question that maybe someone can help me understand. I recieve the very nice weekly notifications of new events/caches in my area on Wednesdays (OR Thursdays, I'm not positive) I love this feature, but I'm also finding it a point of frustration. Why is it that almost every cache has already been found? Most often I'm at my desk when this email arrives. I check it right away. This week, as an example. I received my email on the 20th. Fontana Bill, as usual, had found most of them -4 days earlier!- This happens week after week. How/why does he get these notices earlier, or is there something else I can do to close the gap? I still have 100's around me to find still so I have more than enough to keep busy, but this just seems odd. Please don't take this as complaining. Its not. I'd just like to know what I can do to have any chance of getting out there sooner. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
  8. Looking for a copy of City Select or Navigator, just like the title says I have a new, sealed copy of Mapsource World that I am willing to sell or trade too. Let me know what you might have. Thanks Oh, this is for a Garmin 60c
  9. Thanks for the comment back. Chances are not real good that I'll be going to China anytime soon, but I can see where you would need this. Cheers
  10. Hello all, I'm very new to the world of Geocaching, but have a question I thought I'd run by everyone. I think I know that answer, but... I just purchased a new Garmin 60C for a great price. It included some accessories, including Mapsource World (new/unopened) From what I can tell, this won't give me the level of street mapping I would like. I think I need City Select or Navigator to do that. So my question is this; is there anything special about this software that I'm not seeing? I'm thinking I will sell it, and would prefer to offer it as it is today, as-new, never opened. If there is any useful functionality that I would be missing, or ?? I'd appreicate any input. Thanks
  11. Thanks for the tip. I'll look into that. I don't have a clue how the FW might be upgraded though. There is no external port.
  12. Never mind...I think I've found a good deal of opinions after a more exhaustive search. The more I read, the more I think a Garmin just makes more sense. Wife would love it if I didn't jump in spending $400 on a 60Csx, but... Cheers
  13. I've found what I think is a good deal on a Magellan Meridian Color. Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Thanks
  14. I just recently discovered Geocaching (thanks jrtrouble!), and know without even looking that this older GPSr unit is probably not up to the task at the level I think I want. So, I offer it here. Magellan GPS300 as seen here http://www.amazon.com/Magellan-GPS-300-12-...p;s=electronics I've inserted batteries and made sure it powers up in the house. Have not taken it outside to test how well it receives a lock. In the past, I used it very little. Once in a while on my boat but that was about it. Open to offers, trades for ?? Paypal works for me. Shipped from 91739 Thanks!
