I have owned a GPS for quite a long time, but I am just starting to use it for geocaching. I am having a little trouble getting use to handling the GPS when finding exact locations. My GPS always tends to send me to the wrong point by about 40-45 feet and I can never get an exact location. Everytime I move away and follow it back, per its instructions, I end in a slightly different spot. I have a Garmin eTrex. Is this just an error range I have to live with or do some of you have any "tricks of the trade" in finding a more precise location? Thanks for the help!

Where can a travel bug as big as "Cindy" be placed? I am from CA and havent come across many cache locations where it wouldn't be stolen (if someone would want to).

How does one start a travel bug? Do you have to purchase an ID tag from somewhere? If so, from where or from what website? I would appreciate any information. Thanks
