Hallo ossiilch, hallo Welt, vielleicht sind solche Fragen besser als neues Post angelegt? Ich antworte aber einfach mal hier, damit andere, die gleiche Probleme haben, zur Frage auch die passende Lösung finden. Solange das Auto mit dem Käferchen noch vor der Tür steht, ist die Sache halb so schlimm. Reisende werden in einer recht großen Datenbank verwaltet. Löschst du das, was ein anderer deinem Reisenden "angetan" hat, "archivierst" du nur den Eintrag, der danach unsichtbar für die Welt wird. Das Ergebnis des Logs bleibt dennoch bestehen, also der Käfer in den Händen anderer. Um den Reisenden wieder an dich zu nehmen, musst du ihn zurück "erobern", dazu kannst du ein entsprechendes Log schreiben, damit der, der den Käfer virtuell fälschlicher Weise an sich genommen hat, auch weiß, warum sein letztes Log gelöscht wird. Anschließend kannst du auch dieses Log löschen und alles ist so, als wäre das nie geschehen. Nur die Datenbank weiß das noch, denn in Datenbanken löscht man nichts. Aber die schweigt wie ein Grab! Ich mag nach dem Überfliegen der Beiträge noch zwei kleine Gedanken zur Ausgangsfrage hinterlassen. Wenn ein Cacher oder ein Team in unbekanntem Terrain unterwegs ist, kann es durchaus passieren, dass man die Übersicht verliert. Das GPS mit dem PocketQuery in der einen Hand, der Ausdruck desselben in der anderen und dann der Versuch auf Papier das abzuhaken, was man eben gefunden hat. Da ist man schnell mal zwei Querstraßen weiter gelaufen, als man dachte und findet einen ganz anderen Cache, als man nachher online loggt. Vielleicht ist das Team dankbar für einen Hinweis, dass hier ein Cache falsch geloggt wurde? Vielleicht interessiert es das Team auch viel mehr, als den Owner? Apropos Owner... Man freut sich ja, wenn ein einzelner oder eine Gruppe den Cache gefunden hat. In Südost-Europa ist Cachen bei weitem nicht so verbreitet, wie bei uns. Cacher sind oft auch in großen Städten eine Gemeinschaft von einer Hand voll Menschen. Caches sind unter Umständen eine Stunde entfernt, Wartungen entsprechend aufwendig. Logbücher bestehen häufig aus einem Zettel, auf den gerade mal 15 bis 20 Einträge passen. Selbst in Städten vergehen zwischen zwei Logs Monate. Es gibt Fälle, in denen ein FTF erst nach Wochen oder Monaten gemacht wird. Wenn man als Team unterwegs ist, hilft man dem, der einem etwas versteckt hat ungemein, wenn man nicht mehr Platz im Log verbraucht, als nötig. Unter diesen Umständen macht es Sinn, wenn eine Gruppe unter einem Gruppennamen logt und jeder einzelne in seinem persönlichen Log vermerkt, dass man am besagten Tag Mitglied dieser Gruppe war. Auch ein "Ergänzungsstreifen" für das Logbuch macht Sinn, wenn man um diese Situation weiß. Viele Owner freuen sich, wenn man ein volles Log um diesen ergänzt und eine kurze, persönliche Nachricht verschickt.

Hey there, A few weeks ago I made contact with OakCoins in the USA, which produce those nice Country Flag Micro Geocoins, because there were nearly none Croatian left on the European market and I was asked to bring one with me to Osijek. I managed to order a few directly from the US, those were the last left. Now I was informed, that OakCoins will produce a new series and that I could order a larger amount. So if anyone is interested in ordering, send me a private message and tell me how many of those you want and in which city you live. Dear Dr Zagy and all the good caching people around here, thanks a lot for the congratulations! Although this is my 53rd time in Croatia, I’d better not write in your native language, but meanwhile it’s pretty easy to understand it. 1.000 caches in 10 months seems to be a great success, but it isn’t that kind of big. In Frankfurt I have 1.000 caches in a radius of 10km around my home. Sit on the bike and go; or: take the car and visit the next trail. Besides that, there are a lot of really creative and exiting caches out there, which are worth making a single find a day. As a small gift I will leave you two caches: The first is in place and awaits its publish. You’ll find it easy, I guess, but getting it in your hands will be very hard – it’s a D5! The second will be placed tomorrow, but publish will be in a few weeks. I’d not like to tell too much about that, but caching is something, which should bring people together… Let’s be brought together on Sunday. Looking forward for the small event at Hotel Osijek!

Hallo Cindy, ich weiss nicht genau, ob ich deine Fragen richtig aufgefasst habe, aber ich versuche einfach mal zu antworten: Eine Signatur für Logs habe ich noch nicht gefunden. Aber der Weg, die in Word zu erstellen und unter jedem Log einzufügen, finde ich nicht verkehrt. Ich habe schon einige Logs gelesen, bei denen das wohl so gemacht wurde. Ich würde den TB als Sammelgegenstand aktivieren und ihn meiner persönlichen Sammlung hinzufügen. Dann kann er nur noch discoverd, aber nicht mehr mitgenommen werden. Siehe dazu auch: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=323941 Nun, nicht Hinz und Kunz sollten einfach so einen TB loggen können. Dazu sollte die Person schon die Trackingnummer kennen. Kennt man diese, geht man auf www.geocaching.com, oben auf "Geocoins und Trackables verwalten" und gibt den Code unter "Gib die Trackingnummer des Gegenstands ein:" ein. Dann darf man direkt einen Log schreiben. Wenn du also eine Trackingnummer in deine Logs schreibst, der TB als Sammelgegenstand in deiner Sammlung ist, dann kann jeder, der das Log liest, deinen TB discovern. Ich mache das ähnlich mit einem Coin, der mit Trackingnummer in meinem Profilbild ist und als Gästebuch für mein Profil dient. Da kommen schon mal ganz persönliche Nachrichten an. Hi there, I handed in the listing for the reviewer. The (mini-)event will be at Sunday, 24th of August. Location will be the café at Hotel Osijek, promenade of Drava. Hi all, A few orders appeared in my mailbox, so I'd like to ask the cachers around Osijek, if Tuesday, the 26th of August, which day would be fine for an (Mini-)Event. Of cause you don't have to order something to come to the event. Here are my suggestions: 1. Friday, 22nd of August, 19.00h 2. Saturday, 23th of August, 19.00h 3. Sunday, 24th of August, 17.00h 4. Monday, 25th of August, 19.00h Location will be somewhere in the city for a pizza or cevapi or maybe Sunday for ice-cream. Besides that nothing special... I hope we find one date, where everyone is free. If not, we'll choose the one where most of the cachers are able to come. Just reply with 1, 2, 3 or 4 Or even with all dates, you are free. Hey there, Matko i Maja! It would be a pleasure to meet, when I’m in Osijek next time. Let’s do so, I will just give you a small personal notice, when it will happen. Additional: For everyone who is interested - I will order neodym-magnets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neodymium_magnet) some when during the next months. They are really nice permanent magnets. Each can carry about 1.000 times of its own weight. So a magnet in the size of 50 Lipas is ideal for some caches up to 300ml. Glue it into the box and it rarely will got lost in cause of falling down. One magnet will cost ca. 10 to 20ct (that’s somewhat around 1 Kuna).

Hey there, cachers in Croatia, esp. eastern Slavonia! Sorry for writing in English in this part of the forum, but my Croatian is not that good that I should write here in your native language. I come to the region of Osijek about three times a year and also met some cachers here. The community is small but really active. As far as I heart the only way to buy trackables and other GC things is at events abroad. If you are interested, I can order items in Germany from one of our shops and bring them with me to Osijek, as long as they fit into my suitcase. If my flight is going over Zagreb, this offer is also to all the cachers in this area; I will know a few weeks before travelling. For Osijek I would announce an event for picking up the items (and surely not only for that). Of cause I don’t like to make any money on that. You’ll just pay what it cost me.
