Channel 12 please and pl tone as well.
Pl tones are used in business radios
used a GP300 for years had pl tone
and allowed severl users on the same frequency
each with a different pl tone. And not all the
radios have the same pl tones but they should have at least some that should be common to all.
As for ch 12 it's separate from GMRS and those
users. If some should be Geocachers then we find a freq common to all.

Theres a web site don't recall the name of it
had a list 0f pl tones and witch radio used
what codes. channel 12 please and a pl tone
as well.

I have 3 pairs kenwood,cobra and motorola
an official channel makes sense to me.
Its easy to set mine for sub codes.

I have a merigreen with a sat status screen
thats blank no sats on it also the screen
showing your location shows locating 1st
sat eveything else seems to work.
Help please? do I have to reset unit and how?

For all those geocachers that have 330 or meridians.There is a program called my meridian that will do the same thing. Found at the other web site like this one _avicache.com. my 2 gps have the screen personalized.

The way I understand it the question pool commitee
wrote the questions for the exams when the big changes took place back when I upgraded to general.
And every couple of years they go through one set of questions to update them do to technology ect. As for part 97 of the rules FCC I think wrote them with some help.
