  1. I think that I have solved the problem by taking the I-pad out of its case. For what ever reason the wifi signal wasn't Strong enough for the map page whilst the tablet was still in its case. Doh!! I'll leave this post in place in case anyone else experiences the same problem. John.
  2. Hi, I have recently purchased an I-pad 1. I can access all pages of the geocaching.com website. However, I am experiencing problems with the geocaching maps page. The. Map appears but I cann't open the cache information. Any help/advice to resolve this problem would be appreciated. I have search the forum/help pages for a solution however, there are no similar topics. Regards, John.
  3. Thanks again to Gitchee-Gummee. I managed to bag my first two caches last week.
  4. Thanks Gitchee-Gummee for the advise. Initially, when trying to download the geocach locations I clicked the "Send to my GPS" button. On doing this the Delorme Plugin page appeared. I assumed that I would need that plugin to download the locations. For anyone else who has experienced similar problems, what I had to do was to access the Satmap website and use their Satsync programme to download the geocach locations as LOC way point files and then transfer the files to my GPS via Satsync. A bit cumbersome but it worked. Thanks again for your help.
  5. Hi, I'm a newby to geocaching and so please excuse my ignorance if the answer to this problem is obvious. I have a Satmap Active 10 GPS unit. I have tried to download geocache locations to the unit and I was guided to download a Delorme GPS Plugin to enable downloading. However, the GPS units named on the plugin do not seem to correspond to Satmap Active 10 and the plugin cannot find my GPS unit. I have followed the advice given on the plugin troubleshooting page ie the GPS unit is switched on, the geocach is open, the plugin download is complete and I have refreshed my browser page. I have also dis and reconnected the GPS unit, again as advised. However, my GPS device is still not recognised. Any advice/suggestions Re solving this problem would be much appreciated. John.
