  1. These are not pathtags, but they will probably be some available at Geocoinfest Europe too. that answers part of my question... great design, I hope I can get my hands on one...
  2. I like the coin! it looks awesome. I like the tag set as well. are the tags produced by pathtags? atmatags? or someone else?
  3. wow, another design that I'm just now catching up with... I remember seeing the few posts, but I've been lost for a stint and recently found... I really like these, I'll be looking forward to them and I'll keep a better eye out for them... the color combos really look great ...
  4. I'm good for a set! I haven't been to the forums in weeks, and didn't realize these were going so quickly... I hope I'm not too late. awesome cause AG....
  5. wow, take a few weeks off for work and miss all kinds of things... awesome design! I'll be keeping an eye out for this one to go on sale...
  6. I've managed to put together a few trades for several versions of this awesome coin. I just wanted to wish all the event hosts good luck with their events! I know many are happening this weekend. I'm still interested in purchasing or trading any version that I haven't acquired a trade for. Thanks for the trades I have made and 'Laissez les bon temps rouler!' enjoy your events!
  7. way cool! they are both beautiful! congrats to all that receive them and great job on the coin!
  8. I sent you an email yesterday, I have an extra one I'm willing to part with. However I'll need a few weeks to find it and get organized. I've got Mardi Gras going on out the wazoo right now and have no idea where my coin trader box is at the moment... You'd have to see my organized chaos to understand, but If you are still looking for one after Fat Tuesday( March 8th), I'd be glad to hunt it down for you...
  9. We can't believe what just happened! Joe went to the mailbox to retrieve the daily pile of junk mail and nestled in all the weekend flyers, there was a plain white envelope with no return address. Uh..ohhh....what the heck .....tearing the envelope open ...... WHOOOOOOOOO! HOOOOOO! Yes, the beautiful Imagine Mystery coin poured out into our hands. A heartfelt thank you for this amazing coin. This is a biggie, long wished for and only seen in pictures. It has a very personal meaning to us. To the mystery giver, we thank you again for your most generous gift. This never leaves the collection. congrats! you are so lucky! I've had an eye on that one for a couple years and what seems like an eternity now... you are correct in saying it speaks volumes! kudos... something to truely treasure...
  10. I realize you were busy during the last event we attended together, but I did have my coin collection out for all to see, ask questions and discover. I've got two Tranq's... maybe next time we won't be so busy doing the hosting at the events and make some time to thumb through each others coin collections...
  11. Great Job! loving the new updates... I don't see it mentioned, if it was then please disregard this post. on the beta maps personalization feature it doesn't display my hides for some reason.. a possible bug?
  12. #77, congrats. All you had to do was ask me for one You should email me, I'll bet you'd like another version (or 2) Dang, you've got some good eyes! I can't read that even when I blow the pic up! I'll be in touch soon...
  13. been working on some trades for some older and personal coins lately... these are part of what I've received the past couple days! Most are non trackable, but I'm still stoked over the trades!
  14. I'm liking the tags you had made as well! I know of at least one other event host that had a tag made for their event. Maybe we can work out a trade for it as well if you have any left afterwards. Staying with the Mardi Gras theme, you may even like my newest tag which should be available in a couple weeks. I'll go over to PT.com and try and contact you there so I don't upset the mods by talking about them here...
  15. just out of curiosity... is there a way to find out how many participants had pins made to match their particular coin?
  16. I think the charge is recurring. The club version looks like this: You can sign up for the club to get the trackable club coin: Here You just HAD to post that...didn't you. That's is in the dragon girls' school colors. umm, do dragons share? something tells me I should have sent an extra set of dragon beads with your package... or maybe you might want to open it without dragon girl around to avoid any conflict...
  17. Nice design, but I'm not sure I understand the angel wings on a UFO... can someone please explain this to me?...
  18. I saw that there is some risk that one of the collection sites (with many pictures) may not be around much, so I've been looking at options to help fill some of that potential gap too. If this is in regards to our GeocoinCollection.com Trading site, not to worry. We are working on a new version. We are in beta testing right now, and will make the new version public in just a few weeks. that's welcome news... I haven't been able to access the site since last June or so and have all but given up hosting my collection there. I always liked the fact I could show my unactivated coins available for trade, but since I can't edit that info anymore I've had to rely on my own methods which lack anything that remotely resembles.... organization!
  19. ok, could someone define "pricey"? that's the only thing I've seen mentioned about the price of this coin. I ask because I've been working on what I can stuff into and offer in a medium flat rate box to anyone interested in Mardi Gras swag for their event. Although I primarily deal in specialty beads,(800+ different design styles) I do have tons of throw beads and can get around 200 in a box. I was thinking just putting a gross(12 dozen) together with some other swag and offering it for those interested. That should be more than enough beads to supply your event! Again, please email me if interested! I took a couple extra pics of some items I had handy for anyone interested in more than throw beads. Way too much to list or show pics of here, but I can answer any questions by contacting me through an email
  20. Yes, each event has it's own coin (some will have two versions): 1. Seattle, Washington 2. Carolinas (North \ South) 3. California (Bay Area) 4. Minnesota 5. Michigan 6. Pittsburgh, PA 7. Texas, (Dallas) 8. Utah, (Salt Lake City) There are no opportunities for other events at this time since the mint is taking a long time to make the coin and we need them by mid-February. Like other Multi events each event has a limited number of their own version (the coins are expensive). There will also be a version for the February geoswag coin of the month, and a version on Geoswag.com Very surprising that there is no event in Louisiana -- the one place most famous for Mardi Gras. Most folks I know in La. that would host an event to meet the late Feb/early March timeframe criteria for this project are too busy doing other things with Mardi Gras besides geo-events. As much as I love Mardi Gras, hosting events and caching, there is no way I could do it. Which is why I didn't mention anything about being part of the 10 years group project, yet I didn't get an invite for this one... Now if a group coin for Easter, 4th of July or any other holiday peeked anyones interests, I'd consider hosting one of those...
  21. I would like to give credit where credit is due here. Jim went above and beyond with impecable service to insure customer satisfaction and that I received my order for these coins. I'm not sure how, but I have a feeling it was my mistake and my address was incomplete on the mailing label and they ended up getting sent back to Geocoin Design. Jim immediately made the address correction and had them shipped back to me. They arrived safely friday and I just wanted to give Jim two thumbs up! Both on the design and the way he made sure this customer was happy! Thanks a milLION! BTW, great looking display, I'm envious!
  22. This design is awesome! I've seen the mint plueprint for one version previously, but had no idea that it was being set up as a multi event with several versions of coins. I am a huge Mardi Gras fan and have been lucky enough to attend for the last 20+ years, whether it be riding in the parades or attending the festivities on Bourbon Street (I'd love to tell stories, but what happens at Mardi Gras, stays at Mardi Gras!) There is no way I would be able to attend any of the geo-events, as I also own a Mardi Gras Bead business, that keeps me on my toes for at least 6-8 weeks leading up to Mardi Gras. I would however like to try and aquire each version of this coin. Having said that, I would like to let all event hosts know that I would be interested in puchasing or trading a coin from them. I may even be able to help get some Mardi Gras Swag to you for your event. Please contact me through my profile if you are interested in helping me aquire this set of coins or looking for Mardi Gras themed swag.
  23. very interseting... I'll keep an eye out for this one... the sneak peek looks great... I had an idea for a compass rose out of leaves a while back, but my artistic talent has a lot to be desired just drawing stick figures!
  24. looks like FSM got the report to change the title of your post!
