  1. I received this amazing piece of work from 0R0B0RUS!

He's truly got a talent...and incredible patience! He said this one was pretty difficult, and I can't thank him enough for putting up with the odd shape. His photo, too! Thanks Alan!!!

    Yime

    :D

0R0B0RUS does do the best work, even on a coin like mine!

COOL let's see the back  . Seriously, of what I've seen, he DOES do an excellent job!

Thanks y'all. Here's a link to a photo of the backside.

  2. Apologies for not getting into the forum sooner. I was roped in by the geo_bandit, I guess about two weeks ago. I was gifted with very kewl coin #62.

I have to say that after carefully examining the coin, I am not convinced that geo_bandit is a woman. The red "bow" is merely the gorgeous red bandana knotted behind the head to hold it in place. And I know many men that have long ponytails and some that might even wear a single stud earring.

Anyway, thanks much geo_bandit, whom ever you might be, your generosity is applauded.

  3. Got this last week. Have been very busy working and had to charge the camera. This is just to pretty not to show. This is a special coin given to me by TSUN, made all the more special by 0R0B0RUS kindly wire wrapping it for me. This coin now joins my "very special coins that have great value to me" collection. Thanks! Jodi

Yes, absolutely georgous! I have sent PMs to Oroborus both through Geocaching and and email off the personal website and never get an answer. Any suggestions? I have a coin I dearly would like wrapped. Maybe just to busy.

The work is just lovely and made so special with that coin.

My apologies Lois-Ann. I had filed your msgs and simply forgot to reply. I would love to wrap your coin. Check your email for my reply.

    :yikes:

  4. Grumpy and still adjusting to city life after camping for the last ten days, I noticed a small envelope amongst the pile of bills and junk mail. No way! The return address is mine! I tear open the side and out plops a Mickey Diver coin! :P Alright! Thank you Mickey Diver, your mystery is safe with me. :P

  7. I got me a silver set with the LE :) Thank you once again Paula for such a beautiful design!

So is this the start of a new series of coins? Perhaps there is a Hindenburg coin in the making? lol

  8. Much to my surprise, The postlady brought me an interesting mystery coin. It has two gold and white koi on the front and is called "The Wishing Coin". I got #158. First time I've heard of this one. Is there another thread following this coin?

Thank you mystery wisher, it is a beautiful coin. :)

  9. Hello Scoutboy! :)

Was very excited when I saw the artwork on your website. You and Mousewiz have been doing a super job promoting geocaching. Do you think this will be done by summer camp? We are running a geocaching program at Camp Wolfeboro this summer and it would make a nifty FTF prize. BTW, great article in Scouting Magazine.

    :)

  10. Okay, I definitely see that a gift is a personal thing. I would never knowingly put up for sale one of the few gifted coins I own. But what about all those "gifted" coins we all got from our secret santa's and the easter turkey and valentine's bunny, etc.? :) Gifts or trades? Of course, trades are a whole different matter, some trades are treated like gifts and some trades are treated like purchases. Purchased coins can be traded or sold at my disgression. But frankly, I would find it hard to give up ANY of the coins in my collection.
