I have a question about completion codes is the completion code automatically generated when you add that to your cartridge or do I need to do something else like put in a value some where?

Yourself, Thanks for this program!!! It is working good. I used it to fix my other 2 Wherigo's that cachers with garmins were having problem with. I made them with the builder and now they work great. I also have made 2 other Wherigo geocaches that are working perfectly that I made with your program. I just hid 2 more caches I am going to make into Wherigo's and I have 2 other that I am still working on. They are kinda complicated though one has 16zones. Thanks again!

I am not sure I understand. For zones, you have to enter at least 3 points, since you have to define the zone area. If you have a coordinate of a cache and you want to create a zone around it, enter the coordinate at least three times and in map editor move the points from each other to create the area. Great thanks for the help. Still learning how this urwigo works. I am sure once I get it all figured out it will be better then the builder program. That is one thing that is easier in the builder though to just put in one coord and it generates 4 points for you.

Well I do like the way this program is set up. entering coords seems to be easier in the builder. I am working on a cache that has 16 zones and it seems easier to set up the zones in the builder. I'm on the learning curve for urwigo I'm sure once I get used to it, it will be ok. I do have this question about the coords the urwigo shows 4 points when I look on the map. I am setting up geocaches I have not checked but can I just enter 1 point for the final location instead of 4?

I like it it fixed some problems I was having with a couple of Wherigo's that kept crashing with the garmin's I have found it is easier to do some things in the builder and then use this to check it. Is there a way to save or extract the lua so I can use it again in the builder program?

TB that have sat in caches for long periods of time
A Team Vallejo replied to A Team Vallejo's topic in Trackables
So I see a couple problem's 1) TB's that are not in caches & That didn't get logged out of a cache. If no one tells the TB owner it is missing they won't know it is missing. 2)The other problem is that cache owners don't want to mark them missing because they know that people will come looking for those TB's and when the cacher see's it's not there won't say anything and move on. The cache owner gets another cacher visit and therefore the caches owner has no incentive to mark them missing. I agree with the last post. TB's are part of the Game if you don't agree with that then go play somewhere else. It's up to everyone to watch out for the TB's even the cache owners. -

How about if the TB's are not there and have not been there the cache is free to be taken? -

So why does the owner of the cache have the option to mark the TB missing? for nothing???? -

I came to this game as a Geocacher. I don't care about Travel Bugs. I am NOT a TB babysitter. In my opinion, it is the TB owners primary responsibility to monitor the status of their TB. But, if someone brings a problem in one of my caches to my attention, I will take action. Please don't expect any more than that from me. In a thread a long time ago I also took issue with a poster who claimed it was irresponsible to not move a Travel Bug. Again, not my problem. Thanks for the help your part of the problem -
I am sick of TB's that show up in a cache that are not there and have not been there for even years. Is this the cache owners responsibility to check there caches and mark them missing if there not there??? It's a real pain and quite disappointing to go looking for them and find that they are not there. And what about cache owners who want people to come to there caches and know the bugs are not there?

I just published a Wherigo it worked fine on my PPc but I had 2 people use an oregon and they said it crashed. they were finally able to get it to work after doing the Wherigo 3 times. So is this problem something I need to fix in my code or is it in the oregon. also how do add the unlock code so people can upload the file after they are done?

Once you mention a business name, the cache is commercial and needs to be referred to Groundspeak. The reviewer is not allowed to listen to your explanation, or offer suggestions on how to fix it. You've now been told this at least twice by your reviewer, twice by me in the forums, and twice by other posters. I suggest that you ask Helmut to get off your head so that this information can sink in. Theres the problem mentioning a business name- thats stupid. ok so tell me why I would want to go thru all the waiting to have a cache published Mr smarty pants just because I said it used to be a Mcdonalds. And that other guy up there about a communist country it's all ready a communist country The Goverment controls everything.
